Where is this girl living? And with whom? I wouldn’t allow an 18 year old alone in New York (or any other place, for that matter). All I hear about is what wonderful parents the Obamas are....I beg to differ. He’s off on some strange month-long vacation with some unknown without his family, one daughter in New York and the mother and other daughter in Washington. Not my idea of a close-knit family.
Good news about the stock market. We’ll have to see how it goes today. I’m not an expert on it by any stretch, but I don’t think not passing the bill will have a big effect on it, especially since he mentioned moving ahead with tax cuts, which seems to have made the market fluctuate in the past, based on what I’ve seen on Varney and Dobbs (up if they think tax cuts coming and down if not).

Here’s the FR thread on Jared. Some commenting don’t like the idea. I’m hopeful that they are going to look at the entire government holistically and trim the fat, remove duplicative efforts and jobs, etc. and just do an overall streamline, including with more productive and secure technology.
