Paul Ryan, SOB (Son of Boehner)

On November 6, 2010, I published an article predicting the Republican Party’s predictable capitulation to ObamaCare.

It happened this week. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan oversaw the burial of House Republicans’ opposition. His toothless and feckless compromise bill — ObamaCare Lite — was DOA.

Good riddance.

Ryan used to parade his fondness for the economics of Ayn Rand, but when push came to shove, he made a Greenspan career move — another official Ayn Rand fan before he got into power. Ryan wimped out. He played ball in a rigged game. He went with the flow . . . over the falls.

For over six years, the Republicans submitted dozens of doomed bills to repeal ObamaCare. Citing Macbeth, it was all sound and fury, signifying nothing . . . nothing but the same old surrender to the Democrats’ welfare state. They never repeal anything that the Democrats ram down their throats. Once there is a new voting bloc getting fat on Uncle Sugar, the Republicans refuse to repeal the boondoggle.

I know there are true believers out there who assure us: “This time it will be different. This time if we elect a true Republican, he will roll back the welfare state.”

Nope. Sorry. Nothing will change. It’s always this: “Replace. Don’t repeal.”

I say: “Repeal.” If something is morally evil — and the welfare state is evil — repeal it.

Can you point to any factual information that the Freedom Caucus stopped this bill? The last I heard, rinos were running from it as fast as conservatives. Since there was no vote, it makes it easy to blame conservatives.

Exactly.

Tom Cotton had an excellent interview, this morning, where he explained that just as many moderates were against this (stopped this), as did conservatives.

I’ll look for a transcript. Cotton, as usual, was spot on.

This party is ridiculous, can you imagine the absolute hell that would erupt from the Uniparty if Trump gave Iran $33 billion, freed 5 Taliban commanders, held a wholesale at Gitmo reinforcing the enemy, lying about Benghazi, siccing the IRS on leftist groups, helping to take out the leader of a completely neutral country like Libya destroying millions of lives creating a massive refugee crisis, playing golf all the time, forcing the people to buy a companies product or be punished on and on and on and Obama gets his butt kissed while Trump is fought agains tax a d bashed every step of the way. This party is useless.

I’m confused. President Trump tweeted this this morning. Whom are we to blame?

“Democrats are smiling in D.C. that the Freedom Caucus, with the help of Club For Growth and Heritage, have saved Planned Parenthood & Ocare!”

“And now we want Trey Gowdy to step in and rescue us as Speaker?”

As the truckers say, Gowdy “is all horn and no driveshaft!” Bring in Newt, or if you are still wedded to the idea of having the Speaker be a member, Jim Jordan.

Exactly right.
If Trump keeps disrespecting his most ardent supporters and cozying up to Ryan, he will have no chance at re-election.

here’s what i think:

The enemedia and RINO NeverTrump articles about this so-called “failure” are all delusional, and the best part is that they actually believe their own delusions.

I heard President Trump say a few weeks ago that his administration wouldn’t be addressing obamacare repeal and replace until late 2017 to early 2018 (basically when obamacare would be facing complete collapse), so I can’t wait to watch these fools freak the F out when his administration introduces a REAL repeal and replace bill 9 months from now.

As far as President Trump was concerned, RyanCare was nothing but a red herring intended to take Paul Ryan out of all future equations about everything.

RyanCare was a real abortion of a bill, written by the insurance companies who were the only ones who were going to benefit from its passage. The insurance companies clearly had this bill already in hand, and I feel certain had cut a deal with Paul Ryan BEFORE the election, fully expecting HILLARY CLINTON to be President, but believing that some Pub House votes would be needed to get the bill through the House.

RyanCare was actually SUPPOSED to have been HillaryCare, which was why the original RyanCare bill preserved 99.9% of obamacare, and it supposed to have been Hillary’s gift to the insurance companies, while simultaneously shafting Trump’s voters, who are the people who would have suffered the worse under HillaryCare/RyanCare, with even higher premiums than we pay now.

Ryan went ahead with HillaryCare anyway, thinking he could bulldoze the House into screwing their own constituencies even worse than happened with obamacare. If this had passed, Ryan also knew that it would totally sink Trump’s ship before four years was out, which was another major goal of Ryan’s, namely, to try to destroy President Trump before 2020.

The Conservative Caucus saved Trump’s bacon whether he knows it or not.

We haven't been a two party system in many years when it comes to taking more and more and more of the tax payer's money each year as they can get and waste it, steal it and make themselves and their party multi millionaires.

I and a lot of other oldies have been saying for the last fifty years that when it comes to money there is no difference in these scum.
