Think along with Trump here. He is a business guy who understands that Nobody gets all of what they want in a deal. It’s give and take. That is, if you read his book, the art of the deal. I imagine at this point he is looking at the healthcare situation and seeing the Freedom caucus as the most intractable. Hence, this is where he is direct his pressure.

From his angle it was about a deal. From a conservatives angle it isn’t about a deal but about free markets and an opportunity to finally get government out of the healthcare business. But that is amd always going to be the downside to Trump. He wants to make the most conservative deal he can. Make no mistake, it is deal first. Therein lies the businessman v. traditional politician dichotomy.

The anti-Trumpers, aks global Communists were not interested in repealing O-care. Maybe Trump tried to be a unifier or believed what Ryan told him. The fact remains O-care should be repealed.

People are purchasing unqualified Plans directly from the insurance carriers at considerable savings compared to the Obamacare qualified plans.

One must ask oneself why the democrats allowed the carriers to offer these unqualified Plans under O-care? Then people are taxed the penalty at tax time for NOT being covered under a qualified plan.

This causes adverse selection - which drives O-care premiums up. So the carriers make money on the “underground” markets, and dump O-care. If O-care was to truly work, democrats should have legislated that carriers to only sell the O-plans. Creating a healthier insurance pool. Carriers either played in the O-care market or get completely out and go sell property & casualty insurance. If democrats wanted O-care to truly work they would have mandated that everyone had to purchase in the O-care market. No waivers for government, union or employer plans.

But oh no, democrat/communists put the burden on the back of the middle class.

Repeal O-care, destroy the monopolies with insurance carriers and healthcare providers and set the market truly free.

No, what the Democrats are smiling about is, That Obamacare is repealed and replaced this tear[2017] They will regain control of Congress in the Mid Term elections. Why and how? Because most Conservative Republicans, saying I am tired of getting screwed by the Republican Party, will stay home on election day. As a bonus, they also know if they can delay President Trump’s agenda, and with the help of the Establishment Republicans, they can until the end of 2017, come 2021 they will occupy the White House one more time. Again, why and how? Again, Conservatives, for the most part, will stay their butts home on election day. It does not do us any good to vote. Our votes don’t count for crap. The Establishment Republicans have told us one more time to go to hell. Even the abused wife has a limit to the abuse she will take.

I for one admit I do not know all the moves President Trump is playing here. The tweet seems inappropriate, however, the crappy bill would not have been put forth if the FC didn’t support Ryan for SOTH, so...it goes back to my statement, I don’t understand but will trust Trump will be smarter than I and smarter than them.

9750 more illegal aliens have been given work permits and permission to stay under Obama’s illegal DACA program.

Is it time to call it Trump’s illegal DACA program?

He said he would end it, Day One.

Freepers all over the map on this. People are mad it didn’t pass. People would be mad if it did pass.

But it sucks when you are starving and your choices are a turd sandwich (half a loaf pinched by Ryan) or nothing at all.

Here is the bottom line:

IF TRUMP REALLY WANTED THIS BILL HE COULD HAVE GOTTEN IT

Remember all the arm twisting, bribing, blackmail that went on in order to get the votes for zero to ram through Obamacare? Trump could gave done the same thing. But thankfully Trump is not zero. He did his best to make the deal. When they could not agree he washed his hands of it. It was the appropriate thing to do.

And yes he is irritAted with all of them. As we all are.

Trump doesn’t kiss ass or play politics or compromise or achieve his goals through trickery or thuggery. He is not zero. He is the anti politician. Frankly I don’t give a rat’s ass if his fake approval numbers sink to 5% which was about the same as his chances of winning according to nate silver et al.

Stating the obvious here, but Trump is not your typical politician nor conservative. He is about results first in my opinion.

If the FC doesn’t work with him on a center-right solution, he will move to the left and find 20-30 democrats who will deliver a center or center-left solution.

He sees Obamacare as far left, pushing into single payer so to him any solution with movement right is an improvement. Which I think is true.

I love Trump because he is a tiger with his own stripes, but over the next 4 years I believe there will be moments where he goes left to get things done and I’m going to have to trust him to get the most he can out of every negotiation.

I’d love a full on repeal with everything they talked about before elections, but the political will is not there in 75% of Congress and this is as conservative of a government you will see for the next 50 years.

I say be pragmatic politically and take what you can get.

Boy Paul Ryan really set Trump up bigtime. First he talked him into taking on the most complex issues possible first. Then he wrote a bill that sucked and which he knew conservatives would hate. Then he said that if it failed, Trumps agenda was over. Then, predictably, the conservatives kill that turd. Now Trump is helping the RINOs destroy the conservatives while Ryan slips the knife into Trump's back a little further.

Thanks to Paul Ryan, unless Trump figure out who his real enemies are the GOPe will get it's ultimate wish: a purge of the conservatives in congress AND the failure of Trump's presidency.

It is the truth. It is not like Trump is lying.

The Freedom Caucus saved us and they know it. They know they have the leverage going forward. We have until the mid-term elections to get this done. There is time.

here’s what i think:

The enemedia and RINO NeverTrump articles about this so-called “failure” are all delusional, and the best part is that they actually believe their own delusions.

I heard President Trump say a few weeks ago that his administration wouldn’t be addressing obamacare repeal and replace until late 2017 to early 2018 (basically when obamacare would be facing complete collapse), so I can’t wait to watch these fools freak the F out when his administration introduces a REAL repeal and replace bill 9 months from now.

As far as President Trump was concerned, RyanCare was nothing but a red herring intended to take Paul Ryan out of all future equations about everything.

RyanCare was a real abortion of a bill, written by the insurance companies who were the only ones who were going to benefit from its passage. The insurance companies clearly had this bill already in hand, and I feel certain had cut a deal with Paul Ryan BEFORE the election, fully expecting HILLARY CLINTON to be President, but believing that some Pub House votes would be needed to get the bill through the House.

RyanCare was actually SUPPOSED to have been HillaryCare, which was why the original RyanCare bill preserved 99.9% of obamacare, and it supposed to have been Hillary’s gift to the insurance companies, while simultaneously shafting Trump’s voters, who are the people who would have suffered the worse under HillaryCare/RyanCare, with even higher premiums than we pay now.

Ryan went ahead with HillaryCare anyway, thinking he could bulldoze the House into screwing their own constituencies even worse than happened with obamacare. If this had passed, Ryan also knew that it would totally sink Trump’s ship before four years was out, which was another major goal of Ryan’s, namely, to try to destroy President Trump before 2020.

The Freedom Caucus saved Trump’s bacon whether he knows it or not.

What no, "fewer cops on the streets"? No, "seniors will be forced to decide between medication and dog food"? No, "children will starve on the streets"?

How do we know Miotch McConnell wasn't going to just re-fund PeePee in the Senate version?

Geez Prez Trump! This was just adding gas to the fire when it wasn’t needed.

I understand the foxhole mentality when you and your men are under fire and must rely on each other to get through the battle and survive but it does no one any good to place blame where everyone already knows it belongs. Sometimes I think you’re too insulated just as all US Presidents are.

Please realize who your friends are and who are working for the other side. It sounds like you don’t know right now.

I imagine that Trump is a lot more privy to information than we are.

Before today, his political instincts have largely been spot on, and he also unloaded on Ryan as well just a few Tweets before that.

Perhaps he believes that the HFC and the RINOs were all working on behalf of the Uniparty and never intended to pass any bill at all, which is why he walked away.

1st premise to consider.......is either O-care or Ryan care constitutional at all to begin with?

Is PP and its abortion good for a long term society?

Weigh your answers to Trumps stance, Ryans stance and the Freedom Caucus stance.

I tried to say here that this wasn’t some chess match to eliminate Paul Ryan. Trump ran on repeal and replacement of Obamacare. Trump said he wasn’t going to let people die if they didn’t have healthcare saying the government would provide it. The Freedom Caucus was given concessions, but they weren’t enough. People presumed Trump wanted it to fail (he may be better off that it did in my opinion) so if it did he could abandon Ryan and work with the Freedom Caucus/Rand Paul. I don’t think so. He said next time he could work with the Democrats and wouldn’t need the Freedom Caucus. If so, the Freedom Caucus cut off their noses to spite their faces because they will get less next time.
