So most of these guys were in during the Obozo years.

So in other words, the conservative ratings don’t matter because the votes they held were meaningless. A dust bunny could have gotten a 100 percent rating over the last 8 years with no risk at all.

When they had to vote on something important and involved political risk, like the Speaker of the House, they voted lockstep establishment choice Ryan.

Color me skeptical about their motives.

There are Republican members of Congress whose ratings are in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s and only about 15 members of both Houses with 100% ratings, even during the Obozo years.
Some examples, Alaska Republican Congressman Don Young has been in the House for 43 years and votes conservative 74% of the time. In 2015 he voted conservative 50% of the time.
Florida Republican Mario Diaz-Bellart has a lifetime 66% conservative rating and he’s been in Congress for 14 years. In 2015 Diaz-Bellart voted the conservative position 46% of the time.
And as I already mentioned, whether the president was Clinton, Bush, or Obama, Senator Collins voted conservative only 46% of the time even though she’s a Republican..

This year of 2017 only one Republican voted against Ryan for Speaker and he was a member of the Freedom Caucus.
