I have to ask, is your church like the Gorsuch attends, like with a priestess ands the gay marriage stuff or what? I mean it does seem pretty out there that a real conservative would pick that particular Episcopal church to join after leaving the Catholics. I mean there’s no better choice than that?

Gorsuch looks like a Liberal
he also said Roe v Wade is settled law.
this guy is a BIG problem.
So he’s really no Antonin Scalia after all.
So did Antonin Scalia
The church I attend is pretty middle-of-the-road, which is pretty far out there, considering where the road that it is in the middle of goes.
I have no problem with women priests. As for the rest of it, as I have said, I don’t necessarily support it all, but the church does not demand fealty to it’s political positions.
I could, no doubt, find a church more congruent with my positions on various issues, but what would be the point? Am I to spend every Sunday being reinforced, or am I to go out and be with people who need my help?
YMMV. I am not going to tell anybody how to do their own worship. As I tell my friends, I don’t much care where you go to church, but I do care that you go. So whatever motivates you and keeps you moving in the right direction is what you should do. This works for me.
Hey whatever trips your trigger, I was just curious. But I do think it is relevant that Gorsuch ended up at that particular Episcopal church and not some other one. Maybe there isn’t another one close by.
Like I said, I can see it not mattering. I think he gets confirmed so we will see eventually.

I was re-reading your previous comment, and it occurs to me that you excerpted my previous comments and then spent a good amount of energy and vitriol arguing with the excerpts.
pretty much, no. I think we’re in for some VERY bad rulings with him on the bench.
As for Gorsuch’s choice of Episcopal Church congregation, the Episcopal parishes that will meet with the approval of the rank-and-file at FR are few and far between.
If you just go to your local Episcopal Church, you can be pretty certain they are “out there” politically. Your next four closest parishes will probably be, as well.
But if you’re going to fight the stupid, you have to go to where the stupid is!
Pre 1960’s - huge difference.

I know, that’s why when people say she led him to Christ or that she is his spiritual advisor, that’s beyond troubling. I don’t know what Christ she’s leading him to, but it’s not the True One.
