Poll: Voters Don't Support Donald Trump's Climate Change Agenda
Time Mag. ^ | Apr. 6, 2017 | Justin Worland

The survey, conducted by Quinnipiac University, found that 66% of voters are "very concerned" or "somewhat concerned" that climate change will harm them or their family personally. And voters said they want those views reflected in policy. More than three fifths of voters — 62% — opposed Trump's targeting of regulations intended to fight climate change. A total of 72% of respondents said the government should not cut funding for scientific research—something proposed by the White House.

I’ve,been hearing about “global warming” and then “climate change” for close to 40 years now. Do I see or feel ANY change in our California climate? Not one bit. None. Every 10-12 years we go through another wet/dry cycle like this area has done for millennia.

Anybody who thinks that they can protect their family by ending fossil fuel use is a blithering idiot.

Poll after poll the last ten years has shown this to be at the BOTTOM of people’s concerns. Now we are supposed to believe that 2/3 are worried that climate change will hurt their families? Pure bunkum.

Fake “polls” by the Trump haters in the “media”. These things are nothing but worthless bull****. Quinnipiac and Gallup are full of it. Their only goal is to turn Americans against President Trump. You have to remember, over 52% or more of the jackasses that they poll don’t pay Federal income tax. Worthless fake polls.

Poll: majority of voters who voted for Trump and his agenda don’t support his agenda. As a matter of fact, Hillary is still winning.

I agree, we should spend trillions of dollars, and leave millions without jobs, so we can lower the Earth’s temperature by .02 % in one hundred years.

I call BS too.

In every poll I’ve seen climate change always ranks dead last in what voters are worried about.

66% of the American public is too stupid to even know about “climate change” and what is supposedly is.

This time I don’t trust th4e Quinnapiac Poll. Need to know who they specifically talked to and the questions asked.

Also what is there definition of “climate change”, “global warming”, “manmade climate change”, “how Carbon Dioxide” can change the climate/temperature, etc.

I can ask a 1,000 people across the country whether they like our income tax policies as they are, and I’ll bet that 90% don’t. So what?

Good question. . . I think we need a background check on the pollers and the pollees. Besides, the taxpayers of this country are usually working when these calls are being made. . .and by the way, where do they get their phone bank info from since the insurgence of unlisted cell phones.

unihabitable. Does that mean habitable by everyone, like short for universally habitable?

Quinnipiac has a looooooooooooooooooong history of having THE worst track record re polling, than almost everyone else doing them.

The must called New Haven, Halrem, the South Side of Chicago, and L.A. only!

Bullshiite. They probably polled each other, Al Bore, 17 welfare recipients, 23 inmates at mental asylums, and Debbie Stabmenow (Doofus-MI), who knows Gorebull Worming is real because she can feel it when she flies on airplanes.

I agree .. the first thing I thought was, “who did they poll ..??”

Nobody who voted for President Trump is unhappy about his “climate change” policies. This is just more of the same.

I’m at PUKE already with these people.

And the polls say that we should have President Clinton now by a landslide.

But we don’t.

Polls were so wrong it seems polling should be illegal.

I think he mostly won on the Mexico wall, and getting jobs back in the US so people have work.

As for personal harm, I have lived over 50 years in the mid-Atlantic urban space. This year’s very mild winter has brought many rodents into the homes of people I talk with. Also there has been a serious epidemic of termites in the past warmer decade.
