Special elections are curious creatures. Republican Charles Djou won the Hawkins 1st District 2010 special election only to lose in November.
I saw some reporting that Estes is not a good candidate, so personalities may play a role in why this is closer than we’d like.
Yes, and what’s worse, Brownback doesn’t bother much to defend himself. He let’s the media get away with all manner of distortions. Kinda reminds me of GW Bush and the New Tone.
Hopefully, the tide just turned. I believe it probably did.

Stafford County just came in. Estes won with 73%. He now leads 32,319 to 31,346.
Baris at PPD says he is way ahead of projections in some counties & now Sedgwick coming in stronger for him than expected.
