Although I support nearly all Libertarian positions, the party irritates me.

The Libertarian Party would be sooooooooo much more effective if it were a club like the NRA or a PAC. Instead it sucks votes usually from the Republicans.

Special elections are curious creatures. Republican Charles Djou won the Hawkins 1st District 2010 special election only to lose in November.

I saw some reporting that Estes is not a good candidate, so personalities may play a role in why this is closer than we’d like.

Yes, and what’s worse, Brownback doesn’t bother much to defend himself. He let’s the media get away with all manner of distortions. Kinda reminds me of GW Bush and the New Tone.

Stafford County just came in. Estes won with 73%. He now leads 32,319 to 31,346.
