A new White House website is giving people the opportunity to voice their opinion on which federal agency the Trump administration should focus on reforming or even eliminate. The form, which must be submitted by June 12, was created in response to an executive order signed by President Trump in March that requires a reorganization of the Executive Branch.
On March 13th, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order that will make the Federal government more efficient, effective, and accountable to you, the American people. This Executive Order directs the Director of the Office of Management and Budget to present the President with a plan that recommends ways to reorganize the executive branch and eliminate unnecessary agencies.
President Trump wants to hear your ideas and suggestions on how the government can be better organized to work for the American people.
In addition to selecting which agency is in the most need of either reform or elimination, people can submit individual programs or other miscellaneous advice or ideas on how to reform the government.
While this is certainly unusual, it's also admittedly quite innovative. It'll be interesting to see what kind of responses this site receives.

Surely they will take these votes seriously and do the will of the people. /sarc
Lets start with Department of Education........gov...back to the states,
Then trim the fat, so many, tough to choose.
LOL! Had it been the previous administration, anyone participating would have become a target. Kinda like when the cops send out the “FREE TV” flyers to felons they’re trying to catch and a bunch of them show up to receive their FREE TV.
I never fell for that one :)

This just off the top of your head right? LOL!
Looks good!
Would any of the other GOPers if President would have even done this?
We’ll see how much he can get this year, but Trump is definitely in Art of the Deal mode.
Go Trump - MAGA
Its fund to pretend at least....
There’s also a lengthy list at the website: https://www.whitehouse.gov/reorganizing-the-executive-branch
It DOES look legit.
I’m guessing if ONE dept was Alinskied, Trump might actually cut it.
I think that DJT is having fun thinking stuff like this up.
The list needs to be reordered based on two considerations: their budget and how many regulations they generate.
That is, many of these are unimportant groups that just amount to giveaways to some special interest, and are otherwise not invasive. As such while they can be eliminated, doing so will only save a little money.
Others are either expensive or regulation onerous, but not both.
And some are so gigantic that they cannot be easily eliminated, but *can* be given “poison pills” that will over time eliminate them. And these can be gigantic cost savers.
For example, the way to approach Social Security and Medicare is to radically reduce the number of people (new enrollees) required to become part of them in the first place. That is, having either an “opt in” or “opt out”, so that if someone does not want to belong to them, *they don’t have to*.
This will not diminish the “promises” made to those already in the system, but it will mean that eventually that those programs will eventually wither away to a fraction of their current size.
Both are paid for with FICA taxes, taken out of paychecks, which are a devious trick to in effect double income taxes.
So if someone “opts out” of SS and Medicare, for the rest of their working life, the money from their FICA taxes goes *directly* to a private retirement and health care account. And the federal government never gets its hands on it.
This would matter far more than slashing a hundred of these other agencies.
Am I paranoid, or is it a bad idea to leave one’s real name?
Google “Mao’s 100 flowers campaign”
The previous administration had “attack watch”! Turn in your friends, family, and neighbors for any political dissent.
“LOOKS LEGIT”? Hey. It was on the interweb so it must be legit. LOL!
“And the federal government never gets its hands on it.”
Don’t ever say never. Agreed, with a Trump type in charge, the govt will never get it hands on it.
With a Hitlery type in charge, that’s a totally different matter.
The feds never should have spent the SSA money like regular income tax income to begin with, but they did.
