My husband is also a big Red Sox fan but we live here in southern Indiana. LOL Red Sox use to have their minor league team in Louisville, Ky. and we use to go see them play.

biology was one of my undergrad majors.. and I am an avid horticulturist and naturalist...

I like hoosiermama prefer the heritage type of plants.. the newer hybrids are showy but not as hardy.

Same with mums etc.

My former hubby and I hybridized orchids and had a large collection. Also we did roses and were members for decades of the American Rose society and American Orchid society

I would rather be out playing in the dirt (gardening) than doing any type of housework.. and it shows in my house! LOL

Fresh strawberries are the best!!

I had a great aunt, who lived in the city, and would thaw out (frozen) strawberries, upon my pending arrival (visit). She told me that I would someday turn in to a strawberry.

Well, that hasn’t happened, yet. But...I do love FRESH strawberries, about as much as you seem to :)

re NW ARIZ granny... she died in 2011 but for some reason is mixed in with the 2014 deaths. You can get links to her threads etc. The last one was 10K posts
