"'What the coupling of these different devices is doing is allowing us to take the lab to the samples, instead of us having to bring the samples to the lab,' said Aaron Burton, NASA biochemist and Genes in Space-3 co-investigator."
I've seen this 100 times before. No one ever listens to me.

Just another government program:
“Astronauts have reported funding the strange microbial growths on walls and surfaces, and it has even clogged waterlines”

[[Astronauts have reported —funding— the strange microbial growths on walls and surfaces,]]
Oh sure- they can —fund— microbial growth, but not the border wall?

By “ON”, they mean “IN”. At first, I thought it was growing on the outside of the ISS. Now that would give reason for concern!
It’s not mysterious. It’s just not yet identified.
The ISS has been up there 16 years. No surprise that there would be fungus growing on the walls. Just look at my bathtub!

Why don’t they just shuttle a sample to earth for a real analysis?
