Did anyone ask Ivanka why this has to be part of the discussion? Why does it? Why do refugees from anywhere have to be settled in the USA? Why can’t Syrian refugees be settled somewhere else?
Explain to us in detail exactly why refugees must come here, Ivanka. Is it a federal law? Is it in the US Constitution? If so, please cite the law or statute.
I think Ivanka should go back to running her business (and take Jared with her).
If any of Trump’s kids should be in the administration, it’s Don Jr., not the liberal wing of the family.

After ignoring nagging questions in my mind about the Princess, I finally said "enough" when we learned about her private meeting with Planned Parenthood. Then when I thought about it, I became totally appalled that she didn't retire her brand while in the WH. The brand never was anything but profiting from her dad's real accomplishments.
Since then, my unease with the Prince and Princess being in the WH has grown exponentially. One reason President Trump won was a rejection of two dynasties (Clinton, Bush), for heaven's sake!
President Trump brought with him an aquarium full of fresh water. If he continues to pollute it with swamp things, he'll end up with....swamp water.

I'm starting to think this would have happened even if Melania had moved to Washington in January. Never get between Ivanka and a camera.
All of you piling on about this are simply wrong. There is nothing inconsistent with what she said and the president’s policy, including his temporary travel bans and everything else he has proposed. He has not called for a complete ending of refugees in fact he would bring more Christians here.
Donald is going to have to cut her loose and get her out of his administration ASAP. She is a liberal cancer.
When she starts offering opinions that cause our diplomats and ambassadors to have to call Rex and clarify/verify the message they’re supposed to be transmitting, it’s gone too far.

In fact it’s rather scary how idiotic so many of you are being when her quote doesn’t say anything at variance with the president’s most strongly stated policies.
“The Wall” is on its way to eclipsing “No New Taxes” and “You Can Keep Your Doctor” as America’s greatest political swindle.
President Trump has never said he will stop all refugees or that he’s not willing to discuss refugees coming here from Syria. Her statement that refugees alone will not do enough to solve the problem is a clear reference to taking different measures like safe zones.
My bad....
Refugee camps for women, children, and elderly. Where? Anywhere in their own country. For the men of military age, prison.
