FBI Director James Comey testified Wednesday before the Senate Judiciary Committee that the airport tarmac meeting between then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton last June showed the Justice Department could not credibly investigate Hillary Clinton's email practices.
Clinton and Lynch met privately in Phoenix after both of them realized they were on the same airport tarmac, immediately raising questions about the independence of the Justice Department that was in the process of investigating then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server.
"Our conversation was a great deal about grandchildren, it was primarily social about our travels and he mentioned golf he played in Phoenix," Lynch said last June, defending her meeting with Clinton.
Comey was concerned with the meeting regardless of Lynch's defense, and said that he lived his whole life caring about the credibility and integrity of the criminal justice process.

From what I have been told about Comey, I believe he is telling the truth here. Whatever has happened during Obama’s regime will be revealed, piecemeal, like this.

That’s true but it doesn’t excuse US senators of both parties from expressing outrage at the breach of national security and the laws perpetrated by Hillary and the absurdity of anyone thinking she should have been president after those breaches were exposed......

My theory is Arpaio had ears and eyes in the ground crew, who were told about the special security situation Lynch and Clinton together presented, briefed him and he called the ABC reporter who was there in 5mins.

You’re welcome. I think Lynch is as crooked as a dog’s hind leg, but the likelihood is that BC ambushed her with this meeting. According to an insider, BC wanted to intimidate Lynch. There’s evidence he succeeded:
‘One of Clinton’s trusted legal advisers relayed to Klein how Clinton had called him up, explained the situation, then said, “I want to bushwhack Loretta. I’m going to board her plane. What do you think?”
The adviser replied, “There’s no downside for you, but she’s going to take a pounding if she’s crazy enough to let you on her plane.”

That sounds immanently plausible.
Why didn't this trigger a special prosecutor? If the Attorney General is in on the fix, it shouldn't mean that there should be no investigation.

So the lesson to be learned is that if you want to do something corrupt and avoid prosecution, you need to create an illusion that you have compromised the highest levels of federal prosecution. That is a really bad thing.
What he might be admitting is, under zero, there WAS no Internal Affairs interest, because it wasn’t until Oct 27 that the RATs realized all was suddenly lost. According to them, anyway. Comey was way too cheerful, cheeky and nearly unorthodox today for me to believe he’s sticking around.
He still has to live and breathe in a world that Clintonistas have been deployed to prevent his living and breathing.

Didn’t BC also make some comment about how a few years ago Barack Obama would have been fetching him coffee? Tell me there’s not a steak of racism in this guy, too.
Still, I don’t feel sorry for Lynch. She should have thrown him off the plane and opened a Hillary investigation—if for no other reason than to pay BC back for trying to railroad her.
I think there's a good chance she would have been prosecuted if she had won the election.
And this all happened on a hot Phoenix day in June?? I’m sure the air cond. in the 3rd plane was running, in anticipation of this impromptu meeting happening.
None of this ever passed the smell test.
