Just what I need to start the day, a lot of protein, thanks so much, Lysie.
Been a busy and exhausting couple of days for me and hubby.
We got woken up Mon. night at 12:30am by our little neighbor who has Alzheimers, we are #1 on her speed dial.
Her husband had gotten up to go to the BR, she heard a thud, he had fallen and needed my hubby to get him up, this has happened many times.
Hubby called to tell me that our friend was gone after the paramedics had done heroic efforts trying to revive him.
Hubby had to stay till the Sheriff’s Dept. and the mortuary came.
Not much sleep Mon. night but grateful to be alive.
Had a funeral yesterday of another friend who lived a good life of 85 years to attend then picked up SIL and BIL to go visit other relatives.
SIL and BIL are here for a few days on their way back home to OR from their winter place in Yuma.
Since it is said that deaths come in 3s, I thought we were DONE for awhile but NO got word yesterday that another friend died from a massive stroke on Sunday.
Hubby said NOW do we have to have 2 more? Please dear Lord not any more.
On the NEWS of the DAY: YES to the FIRING of Comey!!!! Best news ever. Our President gave him a chance to redeem himself but he proved himself to be irredeemable.

SIL said if it started snowing they were hitting the road immediately so glad it was just a little bluster.
It’s cold but the sun is shining this morning.
