Trump approval rating drops in new Quinnipiac poll

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH)- According to a new Quinnipiac University poll, President Donald Trump‘s approval rating with American voters is nearing an all time low. That’s according to the survey that was released on May 10th,

36 percent of voters said they have a negative opinion of Mr. Trump, down from 40 percent last year.

The president also saw his numbers go down in the eyes of voters in categories that include honesty, being level headed, and sharing the values of Americans. The two qualities in which the President has not seen a drop in the eyes of the voters deal with his strength and leadership skills.

Tim Malloy, the assistant director of the Quinnipiac University poll, sums thing up by saying, “there is no way to spin or sugarcoat these sagging numbers.”

“approval rating drops”

Not in this household.

Trump’s stock went up as it did across the nation.

This poll, along with all the others, said the Hillary Clinton was going to win. Why should anyone believe any of those Democrat/Leftist polling companies?

Quinnipiac consistently overpolled Clinton in the 2016 election. From Quinnipiac website:

Additional Information:

Go back and look at all the Quinnipac polls over the last 12 months. They were always 5 to 15 points worse than other polling firms and were way off on the final vote.

I call BS on this poll.

After 2012, all polls are suspect. And for the polls that seem to accurate and credible, it will only be temporary. Fake news.

He puts his bias right out there in the open for all to see.

What did I miss here?
This is saying fewer people are against him; seems the wrong conclusion was derived. Mind you, polls mean nothing as this is not a democracy and he remains president but the headline appears to be misleading.

Did this popularity poll ever indicate what a horrible president Obama was?

The problem is the poll showed a 10 pt drop in white, non college educated voters. He will need these. A Politico poll showed that his poll numbers dropped with the pass of the healthcare bill which is more unpopular than Obamacare, and people said they were less likely to vote for a Rep that votes for it. Honestly, at this point, they are going to need to promote this healthcare bill & do ads with people who are negatively effected by Obamacare (one would think Obamacare is perfect if you listen to the media and Dems). Honestly, Trump would have been better to go with his instinct and let Obamacare collapse to rescue it after.

Unfortunately, I’ve seen a couple former Trump supporters, and it’s amazing how they had bought some of the fake news. Trump needs to counter the fake news differently. When he just calls it fake news, people think that he just can’t take criticism. He needs to put up a website or list examples of their inaccurate coverage as it happens.

Not unusual for their “poles” to be shoved in the wrong place. Besides which, last time I checked, Trump ain’t there to make friends. Get the job done. Kinda like a parent being his kids best buddy. Doesn’t work in most cases. Rock on Mr. President.
