Media fair to Trump? Harvard says no.
The Chicago Tribune ^ | 05/19/2017 | John Kass

Whenever I mention the news media leans ridiculously far to the left, that it has lost half the country with its attitude and that the tone of the coverage of President Donald Trump is over-the-top hostile, I get the same darn reaction.

The eye-roll.

That big Anderson Cooper CNN eye-roll, often accompanied by a few theatrical sighs.

And when I leave the newsroom, it gets even worse on social media.

But now Harvard University's Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy has come out with a study of media coverage of the Trump White House in its first 100 days.

It is astonishing because it comes from Harvard, not exactly the bedrock of American conservatism.

And that’s probably an UNDER-Estimation of the true Media bias!

Liberap justification - "But it is for a good cause, so its ok that the media has become a party organ of the democrat party."

Liberal media - propaganda outlets and proud of it. Proud to be the mouthpiece of the democrat party.

/Why are these comments left out of virtually all coverage of this story from the right: The Harvard study had plenty of criticism for Trump. “Never in the nation’s history,” the authors wrote, “has the country had a president with so little fidelity to the facts, so little appreciation for the dignity of the presidential office, and so little understanding of the underpinnings of democracy.” and “Trump bears some of the blame for this. He mocked the media, called journalists “the enemy of the people,” and went to Washington with much vulgar bragging, essentially promising he’d kick the political establishment right in the private parts. And telling the Russians that former FBI director James Comey is a “nut job” doesn’t help.”

I witnessed the media lies during the campaign, to the degree that all but one tenth of one percent could be considered truth. And that’s only because sometimess they get the President’s name right. Otherwise, it’s all malicious slander. Thank God I don’t pay to have that swamp lime pumped into my house via cable.

Sadly, our local news media imitates the lies, so I refuse to purchase from their sponsors. Unless I have a house guest who begs to watch the idiot box, it only gets turned on for emergency weather situations. When it’s on, I find something else to occupyy time.

It’s bad enough that FReepers repose that unneeded garbage so we even have to see it. That’s how vile and disgusting it is. It’s better to stop clicking on their websites. Make them pay financially through dropped readership.

Because their validity is totally subjective and can not be empirically verified as with the thesis of the article.

It's pretty much an intellectually dishonest sop to throw to the swine of the left... like saying Trump brought some of his troubles on himself.
