Former FBI Director James Comey now believes that President Donald Trump was trying to influence his judgment about the Russia probe, a person familiar with his thinking says, but whether that influence amounts to obstruction of justice remains an open question.

That’s a good point. The media has reduced itself to a sh!t-bag level of journalism where they’re even running stories based on unseen documents that a “source” is supposedly reading to a reporter over the phone. The reason they’re doing this is that everyone — from the source to the subject of the story to the reporter writing the story to the management of the media outlet running the story — wants to have plausible deniability that allows them to later testify under oath that the sources of the information may never have existed and it was all just a big “mistake.”
