Mark is simply rewording the mantra of the Leftist war on heritage & ethnic freedom, which has driven the academic/media branch of globalism for the past century. Still, every time, we encounter another version of this half-baked, intellectually very much under-cooked dish, we should seize the opportunity to unmask the obvious fallacies.

Secular Humanist globalist pursuits are to civilizations, communities, tribes and nations, what Jacobinism, Communism & National Socialism are to individuals. In other words, just as the latter destroy the individual in the name of the collective, the former destroy the cultural achievements of a particular people, in pursuit of a fantasy of an imaginary benefit in homogenizing diverse cultures, to "Advance Humanity."

The price of both the former & the latter, of course is the abandonment of the upward reach of both the high achieving individual, and the multi-generational strivings of particular peoples, to build social orders that reflect their aspirations for a future that, in turn, reflect their common strivings to shared purpose.

As we have suggested, elsewhere, the Humanist war on the cultural heritage of the West, is a major factor in What Drives The Trump Haters. To the secular humanist leaning academic or media personality, Donald Trump's unforgivable quality, is that he actually honors America's unique achievements! Mark Zuckerberg may be too focused on himself to even understand the distinctions involved.
