Trump left himself wide open to be sandbagged by a largely invisible network of obama appointees underlings and supporters who his managers at top levels have failed to cull

At this point i really expected more from a top management guru

The entire politically appointed bureaucracy should be immediately decimated- then decimated again. And again.

If anyone even notices that an employee is missing, then hire a replacement that has had their social media and political connections screened for vulgar mindless partisanship and incompetence

The fact that Jamie Gorelick sits behind his daughters shoulder is mind boggling and detracts from Trump the judge of character

So did I. Every CEO knows that the first thing you do when taking over is fire your secretary. She knows too much, and is too loyal to the old CEO.

Perhaps if Trump spent more time in the M&A world he'd understand the urgency of purging the potentially disloyal a little better.

"Decimation" means to get rid of one out of ten. Halved is better.

I'll stand behind Trump, for the moment. It's only been four months since he seized the reins. Frankly, he has nearly 30 years worth of detritus to clean up in DC. The liberalism has been building since the end of Reagan's term, BO just mashed the accelerator to the floor on the "Progressive Bureaucracy".

Trumps new department hires haven't had much time to clean house, yet. And, the liberal underlings are still busy complaining about the new guy, and still are convinced that "I'm not gonna change a thing. The new guy will just need to give up and see things our way." Once that dream evaporates - and, frankly, the rank-and-file are expected to actually work - you'll see a mass exodus at the lower levels of gov't.

One good side effect is that Virginia will go back to being a reliably red state again. Perhaps MD, as well, but I'm less optimistic. DC will stay irretrievably blue, unfortunately.

Rome wasn't built in a day. However, if these stories are still coming out in 2019, I'll be more concerned.

“The fact that Jamie Gorelick sits behind his daughters shoulder ...”

And behind Jamie’s shoulder sits DJT’s former(?) best friends: Bill & Hillary ...
