I always love great cover versions. Hendrix's version is great. For comparison, here is the original:
Hey Joe - Billy Roberts
Roberts wrote the song, it was stolen. The leaves then made it a modest hit and Hendrix knocked it out of the park. Roberts did file a law suit and was compensated.
