My expectations in Jeff Sessions are lower than the Dead Sea. If he acts, and we see politicians and corrupt officials in handcuffs, I'll take it all back. But based on what I've seen, there is very little danger of that happening.
He thought it would be "challenging and fun"?

I guess when Sessions called Chuck Schumer "my dear and very close friend" he wasn't exaggerating.

It’s as though we’ve all conceded that if she just goes away it doesn’t matter if she doesn’t get prosecuted. If they’re going to keep up the hysteria and over the top rhetoric like this then maybe we should all start calling for her prosecution and never let up.
On federal Personnel Security Questionnaires (SF86), it’s standard to exempt meetings with foreign officials in connection with government duties in the items foreign contacts or foreign activities. One suspects waters is busy trying to forestall any DOJ investigation into her rampant corruption and running of what might be considered a continuing criminal enterprise as head of her congressional money making scam. And Sessions seems just the man to launch the investigation.
I’ve avoided this term for waters because it implicitly compares her to a cinematic good guy; but that’s just being pedantic, I realize. Still, I prefer to think of her as Crazy Stupid Drooling Lunatic Octogenarian Burnout Corrupt Extortionist Waters.

CNN REPORTED on it yesterday, but it wasn’t news. It was the same two Russian contacts he had as a senator that was reported on before. They just dredged up some guy that says Sessions got bad advice, and he should have reported all the hundreds or thousands of foreign contacts he had as senator. There passing this off as news.
