President Trump will not unconditionally cooperate with special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s recently opened investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election and any possible coordination with the Trump campaign, a defense lawyer for Trump signaled on Sunday. The lawyer, Jay Sekulow, also questioned the appropriateness of Mueller’s advance review of the prepared testimony that former FBI Director James B. Comey delivered last week to the Senate Intelligence Committee.

This brings to mind a thought that I had about Comey's testimony at the Senate hearings last week.
What if Muller gave Comey under the table immunity for everything he said at the hearing. That would give Comey carte blanc incentive to confess all his crimes and not be prosecuted. That certainly explains every thing he said there.
“Comey has made clear that he vetted his prepared Senate testimony with Mueller and his aides to avoid revealing information that might compromise the special counsel’s pursuit of possible criminal wrongdoing.”
The outcome of that little tete-a-tete was to establish Comey’s testimony as the official default position of the special counsel, and Trump has to respond exclusively to it, has to jump through the hoops already set. In any kind of trial, all that would be kicked out of court.

Sekulow is a born-again Jew who will skewer those who are attempting a coup.
Sekulow has done more good for this country in the last 30 years than anyone else I can think of offhand.
All the President Trump needs to do is fire Meuller. No crime, nonobstruction, no Mueller.
I first saw Jay Sekulow on CBN in the 1980s. He was being interviewed by Pat Robertson and gave his testimony about how he came to Christ.
Only about 4 to 5 days ago Trump put him on his legal team.
He has to fire Rosenstein as well.

You are correct. Trump did not direct him to end the investigation. In fact he told crummy that he wanted the investigation to find anyone in his (Trump’s) circle that might be acting inappropriately.
I became familiar with Jay Sekulow during the Schiavo days. Good guy.
I did not know Trump added him to his legal team. He is outstanding! Has been doing interviews on Fox and also Hannity radio show. Quick, knowledgeable, no nonsense, and very experienced. I am quite pleased Trump added him.

Why do you say it wasn’t an advance review? Do you think Mueller had it in his possession and never looked at it? Or were you making a facetious remark?
I have been a bit edgy, wondering why a man the caliber of Jay Sekulow was not on Trump’s legal team. I never heard a word regarding him being hired for the gig. Then this morning; there he was. Telling the world the precise coordinates of where the proverbial bear dumped in the buckwheat. And I feel soooo much better. Winning!
Jay Sekulow will get to the bottom of this.
