Even to be heartlessly pragmatic...
DACA is not an issue that we need to care about right now. It’s too emotionally intense, too difficult to implement, and the capital, resources, and goodwill required to end it AT THE MOMENT could be far better spent getting the drug dealers, welfare leeches, and cheap labor OUT of the country.
The Veruca Salts on this thread seem to think that the President is a dictator and can do whatever the hell he wants with no consequences.

To save endless arguments, there were those who know Mexican illegal kids that are second, third generation illegals, and their parents, who were brought here through no fault of their own and know no other country but this one, and until Obama these kids were just fine and their offspring are in college and from fine families.
Governor Perry went to school with their parents. So did I.
Trump was always after the 8 year invasion of illegals, under Obama and his Open Borders thugs, the Fast and Furious gangsters.

Trump never had his heart into shipping out the old Mexican families and their kids. He was always after the MARXIST invaders.
The closest he got to DACA was enforcing the laws on the books, but quickly added phrases of accomodation to DACA kids. It was paper work. Probably papers designed to *deport* by official edict, but then expedite the innocent right back in.
Trump mentioned DACA only when asked, in Leftist interviews, and he supported the LAW and enforcement. He didn’t always mention accomodation, but who didn’t know he provide presidential mercy, somehow? As he became familiar with the history of Mexican descendants, he easily understood the deportation priorities for closing the border and deporting the invading gangs, thugs and repeat offenders.
The kids will be accommodated.
