Yes, it should.
But we don't HAVE 200 B-52s. And that is just criminal.
“but what was he doing there in the first place”
Obviously he and his family were more than naive, when he chose to take an educational tour there.
“Warmbier, then 21, was visiting North Korea as part of a tourist group arranged by Young Pioneer Tours, a tour agency based in Xian, China. “
Apparently we have around 75. And yes, that’s criminal.

Our numbers of B-1s and B-2s are equally scandalous ...
For that matter, our entire military structure is scandalous.
By making Seoul disappear?
An invasion of North Korea would probably end in a victory within a week. And then all you would have to do is bury a few hundred thousand South Koreans and then figure out how to integrate 25 million people who have essentially lived in a cave into the modern world.
I have to check and see if anyone else is being held there.
I wonder if they speak Mandarin? Their military officers are probably not sleeping, eh Mattis?
As for 25 million...people who hate us. Deprogramming takes how long? I know they periodically let their southern relatives in but don’t know if they still do that.
Hit them how?
The B-1B has a max speed of Mach 1.25 - only marginally supersonic, and still slow enough to be a great target for NK AAA.
Carter killed the B-1A that had a sprint speed of over Mach 2.
China likes things the way they are. They won’t lift a finger. If we take out just the fat boy, problem solved. Now, how to go in and get just fat boy?
Because they have lots of missile sites that are in hard cover and there’s 250,000 artillery tubes, rails, etc., in the North that can hit Seoul and lay waste to it. That’s the gun to South Korea’s head and why there’s never been a satisfactory conclusion to the war.
We don’t *have* 250,000 bombs to take them all out at once.
Seoul should have been gradually relocated out of artillery range decades ago. They have no excuse.
Have you ever been to Seoul? It’s one of the largest cities in the world. IIRC it is over three times the size of New York City.
Never been there, but I am sure it is huge. Could they not have relocated over the last 50 years if the threat of annihilation is so real? I would find that a strong incentive to move south!
Seoul is pretty much South Korea. How do you relocate an ancient capitol? That’s what Seoul means. Almost everyone lives in very tall skyscraper housing units. Most of the factories and other businesses are close to or in Seoul. Ask the next Korean you see where they’re from. Chances are they’ll say Seoul.
Not true.
The U.S. possesses around 38,000,000 various weapons of war. Most of that is millions of bullets, shells, rockets, and assorted bombs and missiles.
For the record, I am against starting a war with N. Korea over this. He went willingly of his own free will. He knew, or should have known as it’s common knowledge, what the dangers of that country are. It’s his fault and his fault alone.
Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, Jacksonville, Miami, Tampa/St. Petersburg, New Orleans, Houston, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco/Oakland, Portland, Seattle/Tacoma should have been gradually relocated out of naval bombardment range decades ago. We have no excuse.
You remember wrong. Greater Seoul has about 23,000,000 people. Greater New York has around 25,000,000.
I never said “greater” did I?
