Totally baffling. This Associated Press write-up of yesterday's FBI press conference makes clear that everyone involved agrees that deceased shooter James Hodgkinson detested Republicans with a fiery passion, yet investigators seem unwilling to call his attack premeditated or specifically targeted -- nor will they comment on his motive at this point. Why? Am I missing something here? This is what they're telling us right now:
The gunman who shot a top House Republican and four other people on a Virginia baseball field didnt have any concrete plans to inflict violence on the Republicans he loathed, FBI officials said Wednesday...They said he acted alone and had no connections to terror groups. But they said they had not yet clarified who, if anyone, he planned to target, or why, beyond his animus toward President Donald Trump and the Republicans he felt were ruining the country...At this point in the investigation, it appears more spontaneous, Slater said. Hodgkinson had a piece of paper with the names of six members of Congress written on it, Slater said, but the note lacked any further context and there was no evidence from his computer, phone or other belongings that indicated he planned to target those officials... He also took pictures of the baseball field where he would later fire more than 60 shots. The FBI does not believe that these photographs represented surveillance of intended targets, the FBI said in a statement.

I remember that. This whole thing stinks to high Heaven. When the hell is this bullshit gonna stop? This has RICO written all over it.
I guess because they don’t have to. If you or I lie to a Federal agent it’s a Federal felony. If the FBI lies to the American people it’s “tough luck, sailor, you’re in the Navy and we’re out to sea now!”
Must be the guy from the DC police who called the Seth Rich murder an armed robbery gone wrong .... must have gotten promoted and moved over to the FBI.
The someone he asked, Rep. Jeff Duncan, appeared on his list. It's a good thing he didn't spend time studying photos.

There were six names on the list, all members of the House Freedom Caucus.
Well connected Deep State people?
Not sure really.
Geeze that’s scary. Duncan must get some cold sweats now thinking back on that.
It was also reported that Hodgkinson asked the same question about the baseball players earlier of Alexandria mayor William D. Euille at the YMCA across the street. That makes twice that he asked about the party affiliation of the baseball players. Spontaneous!
Thanks for giving me that ‘someone’s’ name. If I post those bullet points again I’ll put that in.
I retired from the US Marshals and to us FBI stood for eF’ing Bunch of Idiots.....and now they’ve proved it.....unreal.....like I told some retired USMS folks today Jim Comey has destroyed the reputation of the FBI.....so sad!
Sorry so late. It was on TV. Channel 347 on DirecTV. They re-play throughout the weekend. Search for “The Tipping Point”. Great show.
The entire world knows that the US government is now more corrupt than any other on earth. The FBI is the centerpiece of political cronyism and anti-Democracy.
The author has been in a cave for a few years.
Notta problem. I don’t have TV but I have checked em out on youtube.
It's one of two things. Either the FBI has slipped into utter and total incompetence, or they're "fishing". Control the narrative, get the nutcases to come out of the woodwork then play whack a nut job with them.
I suspected that this had to be a tactic, because it's just too over the top.
See my comment just above....
It was nothing more, nothing less than an attempted MASS POLITICAL ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT INTENTIONALLY AIMED AT KILLING AS MANY unarmed REPUBLICAN LEGISLATORS AS POSSIBLE; those are the unadulterated facts gleaned from the evidence period!
Any other "conclusion" or explanation is nothing but A LIE and they know it!
