Totally baffling. This Associated Press write-up of yesterday's FBI press conference makes clear that everyone involved agrees that deceased shooter James Hodgkinson detested Republicans with a fiery passion, yet investigators seem unwilling to call his attack premeditated or specifically targeted -- nor will they comment on his motive at this point. Why? Am I missing something here? This is what they're telling us right now:
The gunman who shot a top House Republican and four other people on a Virginia baseball field didnt have any concrete plans to inflict violence on the Republicans he loathed, FBI officials said Wednesday...They said he acted alone and had no connections to terror groups. But they said they had not yet clarified who, if anyone, he planned to target, or why, beyond his animus toward President Donald Trump and the Republicans he felt were ruining the country...At this point in the investigation, it appears more spontaneous, Slater said. Hodgkinson had a piece of paper with the names of six members of Congress written on it, Slater said, but the note lacked any further context and there was no evidence from his computer, phone or other belongings that indicated he planned to target those officials... He also took pictures of the baseball field where he would later fire more than 60 shots. The FBI does not believe that these photographs represented surveillance of intended targets, the FBI said in a statement.

You’d think that if they actually wanted to pull the wool oer our eyes they’d be a bit more subtle. This is as subtle as giving us the middle finger salute while spitting in our face.
Don’t know what that is...
I am literally sick to my stomach. 100 degrees outside with no swamp cooler doesn’t help either.
“And if its not true, where is Jeff Sessions?”
That made me laugh. So true.
They must be trying to find some way to blame Russia.
Indict McCabe for obstruction.
When I made my comments questioning what is going on here, I thought about what we have learned so far.
The guy was an avid supporter of Bernie Sanders. He volunteered for his campaign.
The guy came into the Washington, D.C. area about a month before the attack.
It appears he spent his time casing a prime target(s).
When at the park he queried people if “those were Republican or Democrats”.
He had a list of targets.
He just happened to hit the top Congressional Dog on the playing field at the time. What a coincidence! NOPE!
About all he didn’t do, was yell, “Allah Akbar”.
There is a pattern concerning things done to citizens and or Conservatives. (I make no judgement about Scalise as to his Conservative credentials here.) The fact is, every Republican is a die-hard Conservative in the minds of Leftists these days. Scalise was guilty! He deserved to die, in this guy’s mind.
So in light of these things we know this guy was on a mission. He made sure who his targets were. He hit the top dog on the field. He tried to kill him.
In this instance like so many others, the authorities have tried to downplay the violent intentions. Perhaps they are afraid Conservatives will be seen as obvious targets and garner sympathy.
In the instance of Islamic attackers, it’s obvious they want to play down the idea they are all terrorists.
When it came to White attackers, they have no such worry. In fact, if they can show them as being right wing or Satan forbid, “A Christian” (in good standing) so much the better.
My take on all this, is that there is a war between good and evil. We have been deemed by the true evil to be the evil.
Anything that takes us down a notch or two, is fine. Not only is it fine, it’s the clear goal.
I don’t like to be this negative, but what other explanation is there for this.
The powers that be are dead set against Conservatives. They are convinced we are the enemy of the nation.
They hate Trump. They hate us.
They are out to get us, ultimately.
There is no push back on university campuses where overt racism is expressed against Whites.
I have started to recognize an attempt to turn the United States into South Africa.
That may sound absurd, but there’s no question where this is headed, and it seems to be an institutional approach.
The only ones standing in the way are Trump and his supporters.
Folks can dismiss this if they like, but I think it’s at their own peril. We live in a nation where BLM grew out of a righteous shooting of a Black attacker. The media, the political figures, they all bought into the righteousness of BLM. That’s practically insane without what I am proposing to be true, to be true.
Take care.
It’s pretty simple: The FBI has been infiltrated by leftists. And from my brief contact with these clods back in 2003, I can assure you that the typical FBI agent is a bumbling moron with an IQ of about 50.
It’s not your daddy’s FBI.
And if its not true, where is Jeff Sessions?
cracking down on those terrifying kids smoking joints...
FBI concludes the attack was "spontaneous."
I implore you all not to smear the memory of Deputy Barney Fife with any analogies to this.
Who is this guy Slater?
Dear President Trump. This Slater punk needs to join his bedfellow Comey in the unemployment line!
PLEASE, SIR!!!
All this does is condone the NEXT attack. Geesh!
FUBAR
The powers that be are dead set against Conservatives. They are convinced we are the enemy of the nation.
you have it pegged to a tee...the jihad on white males on the college campuses is the skirmish line they have shaken out to start the hostilities...
Thank you.
Your university campus related comments seem pretty solid to me.
Chalk this up to another reason not to trust Mueller.
“where is Jeff Sessions?”
I picture Sessions with strings tied to his feet and hands like in “Weekend At Bernie’s”.
If Trump can’t get the AG’s office in order, we’re SOL.
