WASHINGTON American Federation of Government Employees National President J. David Cox Sr. released the following statement in response to the Senates draft legislation dismantling the Affordable Care Act:
The Senates bill follows the same failed approach as the House-passed bill. It would deny health care coverage to millions of Americans in order to lavish huge tax cuts on corporations and the wealthiest 1 percent.
The Senate bill would cut Medicaid even deeper than the House bill, and both bills could leave millions of veterans unable to afford health insurance because they would no longer qualify for tax credits.
The Senate may have written its health care bill behind closed doors, but the harmful effects this bill would have on millions of Americans could not be clearer. What Congressional leaders are doing is shameful and disgusting, and anyone with an ounce of compassion for their fellow humans should be outraged.
This has to be expected from the unions. The democrat politicians’ number one source for butt boys.
Stop, you’ll make me want to actually support it...
Federal unions are shameful and federal enforcement of unions on private enterprise is unconstitutional.
Unions are supportive of illegal aliens.
So much for protecting their union members.
They’ll replace them in a hot minute as soon as they can work out the details.
Medicaid is another entitlement program invented by Democrats to make people slaves to the government.
Wanna see them really squirm?
Undo JFKs Executive Order allowing government worker unions
The health care received by Veterans is already horrible, and low income and even middle class can't afford health care because of the obscene deductibles that come with their overpriced Obamacare plans. How can it be any worse?
Them unions are losing their touch.
Big Pharma, Big Labor (unions), Big Corporations (U.S. CoC) and Big Ed (finance and delivery) all have stakes in ObamaCare. Thats a bazillion lobbying interests, representing massive institutional systems, containing trillions of dollars, all simultaneously dispatching their Big Gun Lawyer/Lobbyists to protect their financial position.
Unions dont want health insurance back in/on their liabilities.
U.S. CoC Multinational Corporations (Wall Street) dont want the liability of worker health insurance back on their ledgers.
Big Pharma does not want limits to how much they can charge (profits) and they want a small group of decision-makers they can purchase and influence.
Big Ed doesnt want government to lose control over college education subsidies. etc. etc.
Union vile alert
Good. Good. I’m glad he approves.
No need to be upset.
If you like your current health insurance plan you can keep your current health insurance plan.
If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor.....
And it will save you on avreage about $2,500 a year.

LOL! So Democrat Obamacare PAID corporations money to "insure" people. That's OK. But heaven forbid we should give these same corporation TAX CUTS instead as an incentive.
Am I in Bizarro World?
JMHo
Take away the exemption for the union’s “Cadillac plan”.
The federal union head?? That means it is a great bill!!!
What’s shameful is a Federal “workforce” that spends most of it’s time surfing the internet.
The American Federation of Government Employees ought to be ashamed about pissing in your pants after we cornered you fat slobs and how you begged the cops to come rescue you.
Here’s a hint, fat boys: Don’t try to bust up our Tea Party meeting again.
The Senate bill, as well as the Republican bill, is a real piece of crap. But we have to start somewhere and if President Trump can approve it then there must be a plan.
