what got lost in Vermont was their initial costs estimates were just that...estimates.
As we have seen time and time again, initial estimates are wrong low, big time. ( Obamacare proves that point)
Plus, they are only a starting point. Vermont didn’t even get to the point of determining what future increases might be.
And I can understand that.
The Vermont lawmakers were deer in the headlights when the analysis showed that single payer initial cost estimates were going to be as much as the state’s whole budget for the year .

Yes, he and wife Jane will be having their hands full very soon.
