cting FBI Director Andrew McCabe is being investigated by the Office of U.S. Special Counsel for violating The Hatch Act that prohibits FBI agents from campaigning in partisan races.
The Office of U.S. Special Counsel, the government’s main whistleblower agency, is investigating whether FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s activities supporting his wife Jill’s Democratic campaign for Virginia state senate in 2015 violated the Hatch Act’s prohibition against FBI agents campaigning in partisan races.
The agency’s probe was prompted by a complaint in April from a former FBI agent who forwarded social media photos showing McCabe wearing a T-shirt supporting his wife’s campaign during a public event and then posting a photo on social media urging voters to join him in voting for his wife.

I hope it’s true and he loses his position. But if all he did was campaign for his wife wearing a t-shirt but doesn’t announce where he works and doesn’t wear an FBI t-shirt, he didn’t violate any laws.

I think that, if your wife is running for something, that wearing a T-shirt that says, “Vote for Her” cannot reasonably be an offense.
Perhaps this is a scheme to deflect more serious charges?

I read that their minor daughter was wearing an FBI tee shirt at her Mom’s campaign rally.
I haven’t seen this kind of corruption since the Clintons.
One look at his wife’s campaign web page. Matching campaign T shirts and a really nice paragraph supporting Her. GUILTY!
This is essentially some of the detritus that is left in Washington in the Clintons’ wake. Remember that Clinton’s moneybagger McCauliffe arranged large donations for McCabe’s wife’s run for office.
