I never have. In recent years, it’s become more of an issue with me. As I get ready to enter my 70s, I’m not as inclined to mix it up and take my chances like I used to be prepared to do.
When I go out, it isn’t to commit a crime. It isn’t to harm anyone. It’s to enjoy life.
As such, I try to get along with others and let them enjoy life too.
I try to stay within the laws even if I disagree with them.
I’m not willing to die for it.
I hear you; I’m only 45 and have zero inclination to mix it up with anybody. And I’m a big guy who knows how to fight. But odds are it’ll be multiple a-holes half my age so I’m just going to kill as many as possible, quickly. Of course, I live in TX now so my situation has changed dramatically.
