OPINION: CNN's reaction to 'wrestling' tweet plays right into Trump's hands

But Trump isn’t changing. This is how he’s going to act in his spare time. And as sure as you were born, he’ll attack the media at least a few times per week for the rest of his time in office.

Obvious statement of the day coming next is that Trump’s base absolutely loves each and every tweet, particularly when the target is more hated than Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Al Franken, and Elizabeth Warren combined: CNN.

Michael Goodwin, a fine political columnist and Pulitzer winner, described perception of the 37-year-old network best in a New York Post piece last week, writing that CNN sold itself for years as “boring but trustworthy.”

“Now it’s boring and untrustworthy,” he concluded.

How untrustworthy?

A Rasmussen poll from earlier this year asked if viewers trust the political news they’re getting from their cable news network of choice.

Result? Fifty percent of Fox News viewers said they trusted the network. Forty-three percent of MSNBC viewers said the same. CNN came in third in the three-horse race, with just 33 percent of those tuning into CNN saying they trusted the network.

In other words, two-thirds of CNN viewers don’t even trust what they’re seeing.

“In other words, two-thirds of CNN viewers don’t even trust what they’re seeing.”

But they’re still stupid enough to tune in and “learn” all the fake news that’s out there. These people want to believe that CNN is right, but deep down, they know it’s just all BS.

Shouldn’t that say ex-viewers. Why are they still watching CNN? Why are they funding people who lie to them?

It is like going to a restaurant that only sells crap sandwiches. Why would anyone go there? Oh, they have free soda refills to wash down the crap sandwiches.

Cut the cable tv.

Slowly they are starting to pick up on the “Cheese in the Maze.” Trump has played this now for almost six months.

Reality message to CNN Fake News and the idiots who still watch it:

‘Your worst nightmare: a successful Donald Trump presidency’

As the president seizes policy wins and turns the Russia spotlight on Obama and the press, some experts say liberals are in for a rude awakening.

It’s funny when you think about it. Trump is playing the MSM like a puppet master and making them look dumber than he. He says or does something, and MSM spends the next 5 days reacting to it and making fools of themselves. I mean, MSM has been doing this to the public for years. Turn about is fair play

I just read this on another site:

President Trump set them up and every last media personality fell into the trap.

And the very same media that poo-pooed Shakespeare in the Park assassinating President Trump night after night was suddenly crowing about “inciting violence.”

The same media that has ignored the violence perpetrated against Trump supporters by Antifa were howling to the heavens over the violent imagery of a wrestling gif.

For several months, Jack Posobiec has been checking CNN’s website searching the word “Antifa.” And in all this time, not one story comes back.

CNN has not only ignored Antifa’s violence; they’ve ignored Antifa completely.

And lest we forget. Two days before the inauguration, Wolf Blitzer did a little fantasy piece about what would happen if both Trump and Pence were assassinated before they were sworn in.

But Trump tweets a wrestling gif and suddenly the CNN personalities are quivering like a spastic colon and howling about a threat to their own safety.

From a gif.

Apparently they believe that we Trump supporters will watch that gif, discover our hidden crazy Leftist within and gun down a baseball field full of news personalities.

And I marveled at the irony.

When cops were shot they poo-pooed the possibility that the anti-cop rhetoric from President Obama and the ginning up of violence by Black Lives Matter could be responsible.

And when a gunman opened fire at Republicans on June 14, they dismissed the notion that the endless violent rhetoric of the Left was responsible. They shrugged at the idea that their fantasies about killing the President had anything to do with it.

But President Trump tweets a silly wrestling gif and they trip all over themselves to say he will be to blame if there is any violence against “journalists.”

And that’s when I started to see the genius of this tweet.

CNN is an activist liberal network, everyone knows it. It’s not like the old days when media bias was a tacit fact.

Their “viewership” would likely be more loyal if they didn’t blast their propaganda over Telescreens at every airport, whose volume cannot be turned down and whose channel cannot be changed. There are a lot of CNN viewers who ardently wish not to be.

CNN’s parent company sponsors a play depicting the President being assassinated. They can hardly claim foul over a WWE wrestling spoof. Maybe it isn’t appropriate for a President to send out something like that, but the outrage from CNN and other leftists is clearly not sincere or genuine.

CNN struggles to get 300k to 1.2m viewers per day.

Trump Twitter has 31m followers.

==

No wonder CNN is squealing. That is unfair that Trump should have so many followers and CNN so few. [/s]

Lucky for CNN that Trump mentions them by name, as that probably increases their viewership by 10% who tune in to watch their reactions.

If they stopped showing Cnn in airports, they would have no ratings whatsoever.

As Huckabee said this morning, it’s somehow ok for Trump to be assassinated on stage because it’s not real but it’s not ok for Trump to beat down a CNN wrestler because it’s somehow real. Morons.

This whole CNN farce is a great illustration of the hypocrisy of the MSM. While they’re “assassinating” Trump every night in Central Park, Kathy Griffin beheading him, Snoop Dog shooting him in the head, etc. the MSM remains silent. But a little skit in a wrestling match or saying Mika had a facelift gets them in an uproar.

Worth repeating. Wouldn’t be surprised if Crazy Mika and Psycho Joe watch CNN regularly to build up their courage to be absolute LOONS.
