Andrew Cuomo would.

Oh, sorry, forget about that. So where are the mobs of reporters badgering him with questions about this?

EVERYTHING with ‘rats is political, they won’t prosecute CNN over this, it would go against their politics.

I saw a post on Reddit indicating CNN contacted the guy by email. His email could have come from a Reddit Admin.

But this happens all the time. Pornographer Larry Flynt blackmailed Congress during the Clinton Impeachment by openly declaring on a radio show that his detectives found Congress members having affairs and if Clinton was removed from office, he would reveal them.

Public officials do not have the privacy protections of ordinary citizens.

Open blackmail in action. In this case, I called the FBI after Flynt's statement and actually got through to an agent who talked to me. I asked him if that wasn't a blackmail crime. He basically said that because Flynt was a publisher and it was politically related it wasn't a crime. Same goes for CNN as far as I can see. They get to do crimes you or I would be arrested for because they are media and it's political.

You can threaten to expose public officials. You cannot threaten to expose private citizens.

I am NOT surprised. Has ANY “major” news outlet reported on it?

Only reports I have seen are from internet sources.

Which is why they are trying to shut down alternative opinions on the internet.

I would hope that AT&T would ^publicly^ kill the deal and with prejudice.

More pain for CNN and more “blood in the water” for CNN’s demise.

“Hope he hires a lawyer and sues them. Seems like they would settle out of court on this”

That kid just got rich. The only thing they will argue about is how much they will pay the kid. Looking forward to Trump tweeting about CNN’s coercion of a 15 year old kid.

The law is very clear on this. CNN did coerce the kid.

The new Left talking point today seems to be that the video creator’s posting history indicates that he is an Alt-Right neo-Nazi, so whatever CNN does to him is OK.

Daily we see evidence where Congress, and government bureaucrats, represent the wealthy and corporate interests who finance their campaigns instead of the will of the people who voted them into office. Multinational corporations and wealthy billionaires support the globalist agenda (world government, open borders, deficit spending, regulation, offshoring of US jobs, and restrictions on individual freedom). The concentration of economic power is destroying the American economy and reducing liberty. The merger of ATT and Time Warner will only lead to more concentration of power and less freedom in the long run.

Excellent observations. In the last two years I have become convinced that this concentration of economic power in the hands of people who mostly live in the North East was a consequence of the lead up to the Civil War.

It has always been so and will continue to be so.

I don't think so. I think this crony capitalism stuff started about the time of the Civil War. Prior to that, nobody was big enough to have so much influence on Federal policy.

You can threaten to expose them if they vote in Congress a certain way and not expose them if they don't?

At best, politics in this country are criminal , with the left and the GOPe, nothing will happen until they have to call the army out to protect themselves. Posse comitatus be damed.
