This is the course par for the old media. They commit too many crimes to count with the barrage of lies from the left. CNN and other old media liars are the life blood of the left and the DNC. Never have they been more corrupt. CNN will skate with the blackmail crime just like they do with their fabricated anon sources.

If you say something, whatever it is, behind a screen name, you should be prepared to back it up if your identity becomes known.

Assange cited New York statute. Is there similar federal law?

(One would wish so...)

This is how prosecution decisions seem to work in NY.

1. Does it harm Andrew Cuomo? If yes, don’t prosecute.
2. Does it help Andrew Cuomo? If yes, prosecute.
3. If neither, defer to next lower authority and repeat steps 1 and 2 with the next name on the list.

Just out of curiosity, if CNN is under a federal RICO indictment, does that prevent them from being shown in federal venues, like airports, government office building, military bases, etc.?

ATT may fire Zucker or neutralize him by promoting him to a corporate executive job where he has no operational control over CNN. It is also possible ATT will divest CNN after the acquisition.

Yes, I agree. Good analysis. I think divestiture would be the best move for AT&T. They don't need the hassles. The wireless phone service business is very competitive now. Verizon and AT&T don't make the money they used to, and are trying to divest toward content providers like Comcast.

CNN really stepped in it this time.

Yep. I’ve heard it said that the 1st amendment gives the careless just enough rope to hang themself. A comedian does it with a bloody severed head and CNN does it by breaking the law.

Oops.

This is gonna leave a mark. If Hillary had won, her minions would have ignored such behavior. But that is not the world we live in now. :-)

“Who would prosecute this? DA in New York?”

If they both were from NY, yes. If they aren’t it would be in Federal court since the blackmail would have occurred across state lines.

Possibly the biggest thing they have done is to open the eyes of many on the left as to how liberals abuse power.

Boom! You nailed it!

Now will be a good time for James O’Keefe to drop the rest of the CNN Tapes & finish them.

We ALL need to start posting joke videos that mock CNN now.

The quote about waking the sleeping giant and filling him with a terrible resolve was attributed to Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Most historians accept that the quote is apocryphal; it was never uttered by Yamamoto, along with a few other quotes he is alleged to have uttered but either never were or were taken greatly out of context.

It does, however, sum up his fears of taking on the United States, a vastly superior industrial power.

Here’s where we come to the realization that the NYS Attorney General is a hardcore Clintonite, and therefore nobody will be held to account for this crime.

Is there any sourced reporting on how CNN found this guy?

Andrew Cuomo would.

Oh, sorry, forget about that. So where are the mobs of reporters badgering him with questions about this?

EVERYTHING with ‘rats is political, they won’t prosecute CNN over this, it would go against their politics.
