About ready to leave wifi.. miss it so much. Slept well last night. Wont go into details but it involved a major issue I took care of last night on my roof at sunset that involved an extension ladder, boards, nails. Have not slept well in 9 months. Last night I nailed it (in more ways than one). A little scary with my balance issues going up that high alone.
Have today a bt more spunk (the spirit is always willing, no matter what about the body)..with the good sleep. Will be going to my first Lebanese festival in Parma Ohio.(yes, white socks and all) I like mideastern food but don’t think I have ever had Lebanese per se. It is a food/music festival so I am guessing it will be fun music too. Free admission but I am sure there are charges for food. Going alone but my music man Bill MIGHT join me if he gets home in time from Toledo where he is playing at a church this morning.
Tuesday I am taking the plunge. Been VERY lonely here since my pups died.. Both in 2015 - Toby November of that year - my birthday). My health issues made me hesitate. Going to my friends in Amish country. The young people who bought their home(live next door.. Lori and Jerry built a one room “shack in the back” and live there)..
The young lady is a pet groomer and has an stray that has obviously been neglected/abused. A beagle mix she has named Lucy. My past three dogs have been large. This one seems smaller. Not sure I am in a position to handle this but we shall see. As I said.. been pretty lonely here in DollyCali household. Stray cats only go so far.
