People are going to say this is proof of collusion with high-ranking Russian officials, but eventually, nothing was actually obtained. After that, there was no further contact. Where’s the collusion?

Where’s the collusion?

In that dark, empty space between reporters ears.

This Russian lawyer had the interest of one single group....the ultra-rich billionaire crowd of Russia who were on a listing forbidding their entry into the US. How the NY Times reached this story of theirs....without a copy of the e-mail is an amazing part of the story. Basically, with Trump Junior’s release, their whole story is finished off in a matter of minutes. Another fake news episode.

This is typical of the reasoning: Donald Trump Jr. may have crossed the legal line on collusion - WaPo

you can go to jail for conspiring with a foreign adversary to influence or undermine an election, and Jacobovitz thinks what Trump Jr. did ...

"You may have crossed the line on conspiracy to commit election fraud or conspiracy to obtain information from a foreign adversary," he said. "You cannot benefit from a foreign adversary in this kind of scenario."

Willingness to collude is not the same as actual collusion, which BTW isn’t illegal.

Repeat the term “collusion” often enough, and the residual effects of this repetition is for it to stick in people’s minds.

Reality is not allowed to intrude. The meme becomes “Trump = collusion”, further proof not necessary.

How, exactly, was a Trump victory supposed to benefit the Russians to a greater degree than a Hillary victory? EVERYTHING was going their way so long as the Obama-Clinton machine remained in power. The Trump presidency has already been a powerful headwind for the Russian Federation and its attempt to assume world leadership, and the pushback is only going to get stronger. The Russians have already done a number of course corrections, and they may not be able to recover their former progress and momentum.

Russians might not be dominated by the precepts of Communism any longer, but they are still Russians. And as such, they are always destined to be rivals of the United States. Whether as uneasy allies or unrelenting opponents, is pretty much predicated on how strong the US becomes and remains.

A strong America forces their grudging respect. A weak America brings out the bully aspect of the Russian psyche, and they proceed to become adamant and overbearing.

The only thing....a hard stance that they’ve had zero discussions with Russian’s, now looks bad. That said, this really amounts to nothing more than “man talks to Russian woman”, the horror of it all!!

They’re saying she *was* married to some Russian transportation deputy. OOOOOK. Of course the fake “dossier” that the DNC received from foreigners is ok.

The left is making it out to be that “collusion” is somehow illegal and a major crime. How? Are they implying it’s treason? If so, saying that meeting somebody that is Russian, on American soil, amounts to treason is absurd. ...seems to be their argument though. The morons at HuffPo are asking why Mueller hasn’t charged him yet!!
