Republicans control the Senate and the Senate Committees. They control the schedule. Appointees cannot be filibustered. How exactly are the Democrats causing the hold-up?
There’s probably procedural moves, but ur right, Repubs control everything. Stands to reason the Repubs are stopping the nominations-—they are solidifying their opposition party status in perpetuity with this kind of lame job performance, that is if they continue to survive as a party.
