Senator John McCain recently had surgery to “remove a blood clot above his left eye” according to a CNN report. CNN fortunately didn’t have a chance to wade into their familiar territory of fake news because they had a practicing neurosurgeon, and CNN Chief Medical Correspondent, Dr Sanjay Gupta on hand to discuss Senator McCain’s surgery.
Despite the cheery description, “minimally invasive craniotomy”, this was brain surgery, opening the skull and removing something from the Senator’s brain. Nothing simple or minimal about this. Otherwise neurosurgeons wouldn’t need many years of training to perform such delicate surgery.
Dr. Gupta is correct in calling what was removed from the Senator's brain "an abnormality." It could also be described as "a lesion" or "a mass." Although news articles called it "a blood clot," it was sent to pathology to be reviewed under a microscope to see what was actually removed.

Hmmm, yes, I seem to remember it had something to do with Benghazi and Hillary.
And now McCain is implicated in the FusionGPS/fake dossier matter.

Every person needs to go into their refrigerator and get an egg out of the carton and then hold over your left eye near your forehead. This “blood clot” was the size of a large egg.
So did they remove the left eye and extract it fron the socket?
There’s nothing new in McCain’s behavior. He’s been an enemy since he lost the primary to Bush in 2000. Probably further back.
the senator has been exhibiting somewhat intemperate behavior - like the governor over appropriate statements was gone. then there was the Comey questioning - when i really could see his confusion on his face. alzheimer’s, i wondered? perhaps this explains all of the above. it is worrisome that they have lab work - i wish him no ill will due to the amazing service in Vietnam.
Maybe McCain can borrow Hillary’s special brain-injury glasses while he recovers.

He has not been all there for years. With the latest removal, there is even less. Time for him to drop out.
That idiot McCain is defined by the words “That Idiot”. He was never a “rebel”, instead he was tool of the left.
While I do not wish him harm, I hope this episode leads to a true conservative being selected to replace the idiot.

I believe they cut the head bone, lifted the hood and cut out the egg sized tumor/growth. Then they shut the hood and stitch him up.
Sometimes you can do brain surgery through the nose.
