I’m calling fake news on this because there is no way Cruz would want to become Attorney General. In the first place he has enough enemies in the Senate who would vote against him just to stick it to him. In the second place, he wants to be president one day and leaving a senate seat for a cabinet post is not the way to do that.

Cruz is ineligible to be President.

Give up what is almost a lifetime job at this point for something where you can be fired in six months if President Trump doesn’t like your tie.

Cruz is maybe the most ambitious active politician on the scene today.

He ain’t giving up his day job to play Robert Bork for Donald Trump.

Indeed, Senate to cabinet is the most recent route to bigly losing.

(Cruz) wants to be president one day and leaving a senate seat for a cabinet post is not the way to do that.

Shouldn't he become a natural-born citizen first?

Cruz’s mask slipped during the primary and the convention too.

I don’t think Trump is one to forget that, nor should he. It may be disinformation rather than fake news, however.

The article never said Cruz wanted to be AG or that Trump would ask him. All it said is that Trump asked him what he would do differently as AG...that did not mean Trump wants him as AG. Trump was asking for advice.

Did you actually read the article or just the headline?
