In a seeming act of defiance toward the Trump administration, a federal judge in San Francisco has refused to reinstate the president’s sanctuary cities order.

The bold move to not reinstate President Donald Trump's executive order -- which sought to slash funding to cities that limit cooperation with federal immigration authorities -- comes amid a battle between the State Department and local governments across the country over the edict from Washington.

Possibly. States rights don’t include ignoring the constitution, I would agree. States are supposed to have some right of self determination. But if a state may ignore fed law with regard to sanctuary city status and marijuana may we not also ignore federal gun laws and income tax laws? It does open up some interesting possibility, if taken to logical conclusion.

Need to have the House and Senate pass a law making it a felony to enter the country illegally... so we can prosecute those who ‘aid and abet’

How to fix this? Judges no longer rule up and down on the legality of an issue, but are rewriting law based on subjectivity and their "feelings".

Apparently this judge doesn't like the way President Trump talks, and that is sufficient.

Do we need a constitutional amendment? How can we stop a rogue judiciary, where the honest rule of law is the exception. This is truly the elephant in the room that no one dare talk about other than complain. Myself, I have no idea how to fix it, so I rank with one of the complainers.

“edict from Washington.”

Nice that he press is catching on. For the last 8 years they acted like Obama’s executive orders were rule of law, er, more like must obey commandments from High.

Arrest him and charge him with the federal crime of harboring aliens, 8 USC Section 1324. These revolutionaries need to be brought to heel.

Since the rogue judiciary is not following the Constitution and rule of law the administration can enforce the law regardless of their rogue opinions. Then let them take whatever action they can. We shall see who has authority when it comes to illegal immigration.

Immigration enforcement could set up a big shop right across the street from this so called judge. See if he like those apples.
