POTUS SLAMS SESSIONS AGAIN: He Endorsed Me Because of Big Crowds, Not Loyalty

In a brief interview with the Wall Street Journal, President Trump ripped into Attorney General Sessions once again. This time, the President cut even deeper, suggesting Sessions endorsed him because of Trump’s success as a candidate, not out of loyalty.

President Donald Trump  expressed his disappointment in Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Tuesday and questioned the importance of Mr. Sessions’s early endorsement of Mr. Trump’s candidacy, but the president declined to say whether he planned to fire him.

“It’s not like a great loyal thing about the endorsement,” Mr. Trump said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. “I’m very disappointed in Jeff Sessions.”

While the President is still mum on his plans concerning Sessions, Scaramucci told NBC News a decision on the AG’s future will be made ‘shortly.’

Trump said he didnt want to go after clinton..said she suffered enough.

Never understood that unless obama pardoned her...and now just using it as an excuse to fire sessions

We need to all keep in mind that the Democrats, the RINO's and the Deep State (and God knows who else) are at war with the Trump administration.

Ergo, it is a good idea not to jump to conclusions no matter how outrageous the shiite hitting the news.

Just by the nature of it, things had to get worse--much worse--before they began to get better.

I personally have no idea what the hell is going on with Trump, Sessions, or the administration. But I do know from experience that a cool head is what always works.

Stay cool, FRiends...stay cool.

But those of you clamoring for Rudy..he also thinks sessions had to recuse

Many observers stated months ago that if Sessions knew he was going to have to recuse he should have done the right thing and not have accepted the job as AG.

Sessions recusal has been an utter disaster of historical proportion.

>The war with Sessions is not good and indicates a bigger problem, sorry to say.

Very surprising to say the least.

“How about “Concern Troll” then”?

That’s also BS. And stupid. People have legitimate reasons to be concerned and to call them “Concern Trolls” is idiotic.

If the shoe fits you, then wear it.

Sessions went RINO. How did that work out for him?

Sessions has never been a RINO and was far ahead of most on immigration and other issues.

Ehhh - I attributed that to statesman level speaking - bury the hatchet and all that.

But since the dems have gone to war I’m sure Trump wants to return fire.

-- I wish he'd be adult and give the reasons he has lost confidence in Sessions ... --

He gave them. According to Trump ... Sessions misled him about recusal, and if sessions had been honest, he would have picked a different AG. He's also upset that Sessions hasn;t indicted HIllary, and hasn;t spiked the Russia investigation. That's what he wants done, he wants it done now, it was all Sessions job, and Sessions is a miserable failure at protecting the president.

I didn't know Sessions cared so much about big crowds.

He didn't either. He'll discover a lot more about himself, if he doesn't get his ass out of his chair and go home.

well if nothing else, this is yet another strong indication that Trump has nothing to hide. He sure as hell wouldn’t piss off his acting AG if he did.

People don’t realize Sessions helped TrumpTrinp by recusing. Mueller is just going through the motions, nothing will even come of it. Trump is doing everything he can to make the charges look legitimate, instead of letting it die on the vine.

To be fair - it’s not Sessions job to “protect” the President but insure that the investigations are honest and factual and laws are being fairly prosecuted.

We’re too used to “the DNC way” of doing things.

Only one thing regarding Sessions.

Why has he not spoken out about how you can’t appoint a special prosecutor without a crime?

He has not, folks.

I used to like Sessions, but he is a Senate creature and I do not feel he has our agenda in mind.

He also gave Mueller a big smooch. Jeff is not on our side anymore and I do not know why.

‘Trump said he didnt want to go after clinton..said she suffered enough.

Here’s a thread from The_Donald on that very subject. Very insightful:

‘He extended the olive branch back in Nov ‘16. He said he didn’t want to hurt the Clintons. Said they were good people. He wanted to let it go. BUT You on the left just couldn’t do it. Now the Hammer will f_____g drop!!’

If not Sessions, then who?

Everyone, including me, wants Rudy Giuliani. The problem is, Rudy has said he does not want the job. Recently, Rudy said that Sessions, in recusing himself, “made the right decision under the rules of the Justice Department.” This tells me that Trump, being new to minutia of the rules, may be even more frustrated with the rules. I know Giuliani is solidly loyal the President Trump. Maybe that loyalty would push him to step up to the plate.

Then, there is Ted Cruz. He would rather work for Texas in the US Senate:

I am not sure if Cruz would be as loyal since his dad was accused by Trump as being involved in the JFK assassination. I think Cruz would be hesitant to be involved in the Trump Team knowing that President Trump would say something hard for him to deal with.

Then there is the confirmation fight. Cruz would face a incredible confirmation with the Left fighting tooth and nail against Cruz's confirmation. No Democrat would vote to confirm Cruz. The media and the Swamp would rear their ugly head for a battle royal in the mud like never before. The third, on the short list, is Governor Chris Christie. I am not sure Christie has his heart into the job which will wade through a Constitutional Crisis between the Administration and the Deep State and its #AntiTrump useful idiots. Christie will have a difficult time getting through confirmation in the Senate. That process would be another battle royal which would serve the DemonRATs keeping the Trump Team from getting into the meat and potatoes of their agenda: Indicting the Clinton Crime Foundation and the DemonRAT party. Tax cuts, trimming the budget, building the wall, rebuilding our infrastructure, regulations; especially the environmental regulations, fixing the trade imbalance, immigration and health care cannot be delayed by DemonRAT stunts.

Who has those qualifications to do the difficult job of restoring law and order to our Department of Justice?

Consider these names: Pam Bondi, Republican Florida Attorney General. She would be an excellent pick “to combat and treat the scourge of drug abuse, addiction, and the opioid crisis.” I know in my community that the cops are all paid off by the drug ringleaders who fly in Heroin through McCord Air Base.

Trey Gowdy, Republican congressman from South Carolina who headed the House committee that investigated the 2012 attacks on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya. He would be a perfect pick to take on the Clinton Crime Foundation, their corruption and the strange deaths surrounding investigations of them over the decades.

I would have a clean sweep and make both Bondi and Gowdy either Attorney General or Deputy Attorney General. IMHO
