I didn't think he would do well, but he has exceeded my expectations of him.

Quite impressive.

If Tebow had been any other race, his Christian faith would have been overlooked and he would have had a fine career in the NFL, IMO.

Not trying to hate anyone here, but I think there’s a new discrimination that is institutionally enshrined now.

Well the Pats already have a pretty good QB. All of the Jets QB’s sucked and they didn’t play Tebow right.

I am not going to search it out but there has already been a FR discussion that Tim will never be in ‘big league’ baseball.
You probably believed everyone that said (over and over and over again) that Trump wouldn't get the nomination and then that he'd never be elected.

"Baseball teams don’t make money by having people hit they make money by selling t-shirts, selling commercials for their broadcasts and putting @sses in seats. Tebow is a draw, maybe he will only be a draw for a season or two, but he is a draw now".

Not many T-shirts, etc are sold by teams which don't win and which do not have players who stand out. Look at the attention given to that young kid playing for the Yankees, Aaron Judge. Attendances around the league are up everywhere he plays.

New York City hype.

Batting leaders in the Florida State League are several years away from the majors, and a majority of those batting leaders don’t make the majors.

Qualifying FSL batting leaders have two or three times the number of ABs as Tebow, so he hasn’t had to adjust to scouting yet.

Tebow’s other problem is a surprising lack of defensive skills, which were thought to have been his strength.

I don't understand why the IDIOT Owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars didn't give Tebow a chance??!!

Does he realize how popular Tebow is in Florida? His QB Bortles sucks!!

Tim Tebow, it turns out, can play a little.

Real prospects can play a lot.

Many people have said that.

At some point soon, Tim needs to figure out what he wants to do with his life after sports.

I watch Tebow's stats on this page everyday to see how he's doing!

Tebow was hitless for 2 straight games but he had 3 hits yesterday! Woo!

Raised his batting average back up to .300+

I’m pulling for the guy.

In 2016, the oldest player to make an MLB debut was a 32 year old pitcher. The oldest non-pitchers to make debuts were 24 or so. That’s a typical pattern; 30 year old pitchers still get chances, position players not so much

Tim Tebow will be 30 in a couple weeks. A non-pitcher that old making a rookie MLB debut is the stuff of movies!

Tebow proved he could play NFL football with the Broncos. The Jets should have given him a chance. Going to the Patriots was a mistake because Tom Brady had the QB position locked down for many years to come.

The fact is many people hated him because of him wearing his Christianity on his sleeve and that made them uncomfortable.

It is fun watching him succeed in pro baseball far beyond what the naysayers predicted.

“Too bad for Tim Tebow that Bill Vleck is no longer alive and no longer owns an MLB team.”

Yes, but his son Mike Veeck is a chip off the old block:

The guys in the majors also throw nasty curves, hard sliders and foolishly tricky cut fastballs, and can hit the corners with them.
