I last saw him in the first season of Bloodline (Netflix) several years ago. Like him in the film Blackthorne (2011).

Definitely has a southern genre thing going for it too. Sort of a Faulkner/Grissom love child.

[He was Chuck Yeager in, “The Right Stuff,” and BG Garrison in, “Blackhawk Down.” Great actor.
I had a cousin die of ALS and it is heartbreaking ]

Hopefully there is plenty of “Beemans” where he is going.

RIP

Right. My first impression was that it was like a cross between “Stand By Me” and “No Country for Old Men.”

Understandable; it’s a bit confusing.

Chuck Yeager was portrayed by Sam Shepard.
Alan Shepard was portrayed by Scott Glenn.
John Glenn was portrayed by Ed Harris.
There was no astronaut named Harris.
