On Wednesday the global environmentalist movement commemorated Earth Overshoot Day, which marks the moment when the world population has supposedly consumed all the earths resources allocated for the yearfruit and vegetables, meat and fish, water and woodand so began to overexploit the planet.
Each year, an environmental advocacy group called the Global Footprint Network (GFN) calculates the day when the years available resources run out and mankind begins overconsuming nature. In the year 2000, Earth Overshoot Day was celebrated at the end of September, in 2016 it struck on August 8, and now, in 2017, it has moved six days earlier, to August 2.
We use more ecological resources and services than nature can regenerate through overfishing, overharvesting forests and emitting more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere than forests can sequester, the group exclaims on its website.
By August 2, 2017, we will have used more from nature than our planet can renew in the whole year, GFN announced.

Who’s allocating?
Guess that's just more BS from these people...

If that were true, and we’ve been doing it a LONG time, well, er, wouldn’t catastrophe have hit yet?
That could be the most stupid statement i’ve ever read :)
“Them”. LOL! Those that remain un-named and unseen. Kinda like a science fiction movie. With no science.
Guess you missed the post I did with manbearpig earlier. LOL! I did read that we only have 3 years to “fix it” or we’re doomed. Or was it 3 weeks. Anyway, the erf will do what it damn well pleases despite some assclown trying to change that.
Exactly. Until they start “walking the talk,” they are not true believers, just pretentious, holier-than-thou, educated-but-stupid “useful” idiots.

We need a greentard Jim Jones to lead all these loathsome swine to the mother ship.
OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the suns planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

I’d have to see the data on that, but, how can I tell the data hasn’t been manipulated to back their argument?
I’ll see you and raise you these:
1. Define the correct temperature range for the planet.
2. Define the correct humidity range for the planet.
3. Define the correct mean sea level for the planet.
4. Define the correct amount of precipitation for the planet.
5. Define the correct makeup of the atmosphere.
6. Define the correct amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.
7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.
;-)
Can we please pass the “tipping point” so we can all forget this lunacy and go on with pour lives.
Ooooh noes, the huge manatee!
“....how can I tell the data hasnt been manipulated to back their argument?” Just trust them. Really. It won’t hurt and you won’t feel a thing. ;-)
the world’s population can fit comfortably into the state of texas- the world is NOT overpopulated- There are sections where people cram into that make it appear that way but NO- the planet is NOT overpopulated- not even close-
Earth First!
We’ll mine the other planets later.
We should all just die and then The Earth could just live on, and be all planet-like and happy.
We used to have some pretty big ones in the canal behind a house we rented in Cocoa Beach. They liked the fresh water hose.
