President Trump on Tuesday threatened to meet North Korean threats with "fire and fury" a day after Pyongyang said it was ready with "ultimate measures" in response to new U.N. sanctions pushed by Washington.

"North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States," the president warned at a meeting on the opioid crisis held at Bedminster, N.J., where he is on an extended working vacation....

Why we haven’t done so is a mystery.

************

Not really. A string of weak and indecisive U.S. presidents passed the buck when they could have done something. Now the problem has expanded exponentially and has fallen into Trump’s lap — at its most threatening point.

Whatever we do, it had better be swift and decisive. We cannot wait for this madman to strike us or our allies in the region. Time for talk is over.

While we have not seen them used in anger, we HAVE seen 25 MT weapons.

2000 x Hiroshima.

The world has seen that film for 60 years.

Agree, deep state and defense contractors are salivating at the thought of another war. But this one isn’t going to be lucrative for them, because the only real solution is to nuke Lil Kim before he gets off the ground. There won’t be any ground invasion to support, just a massive decontamination effort and rebuilding of South Korea.

........I confess to being no military expert but I do know more than ALL my friends and my 2 cents is that Trump won’t use nukes.

He will instead martial everything we have that can drop a bomb, including shoving them out the door of airliners, and certain parts of North Korea will simply not exist within 24 hours.

Before that, I think the US, Japan, Britain and others blockade North Korean ports with the warning that any ship coming out will be sunk including Russia and China.

Hopefully that works as I don’t want to see millions of people die. I don’t envy Trump but he is sure as hell the man to make the decision in this year of 2017....72 years after another real MAN, Harry Truman.............did the same thing.

We have had the ability to turn North Korea into a gravel pit for decades. Why we haven’t done so is a mystery

Millions of South Koreans and Japanese would potentially die as a result.

You're gonna have to come up with a better plan than that General.

Horsecrap. This war's been coming since 1953. Every president from Truman to the Obammunist has kicked the can down the road, and now it's gotten to the point we're out of road. Trump knows we either deal with that little sh!tbird punk now, or we're going to be on the receiving end of a nuke or EMP.

But if he wanted to nuke Portland, I say go ahead...that's a freebie.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

“Millions of South Koreans and Japanese would potentially die as a result.”

Worst case scenario is a couple of hundred thousand.

And, compared to a nuke strike on the US...not our problem. Our essential strategic interests are at stake.

What’s a “working vacation”? How is it different than when he’s at the White House?

The world would look very different today had 9/11 resulted in Mecca and Riyadh being nuked and string of tactical nukes hitting the Taliban regions of Afghanistan.

Hope fire and fury is more impressive and decisive than shock and awe.

It is pressure.

Lil’ Kim is wanting it. He believes in things that don’t exist much like the libtards in this country.

We have weapons never utilized before. If this is what they want, they may get it.

We don’t have a 25 megaton anything.

The biggest we have is the B83 which is 1.2 megatons.

We exploded 25 MT as a test in the 50s.

The big bombs are not necessary now.

Precisely aimed, small warheads are the Nuclear Counterforce weapons of choice.

I think you are quite over estimating. The Kim’s have been extorting us over Seoul for decades. Time to call.

agreed, hate NK, but all of a sudden, like Iraq must go to war..? Perhaps it is a move because we see war coming in ME with Iran and want to make sure Iran has no backup..

It must be neutron weapons, no radiation, leaves the city in tact..We cannot nuke next to China and not expect war.
