OK. We are on the same page. The idea of feminism that men and women are the same has taken hold even in conservative circles. I am all for merit-based competition, hiring or whatever. In some areas of life, women will do better and in other areas of life men will do better.

I think I am talking more about abusing white males to an extent to humiliate them in a group settings. Sort of like the ads or TV sitcoms on American television for the last 20 years have and are depicting the white male as a buffoon and looser in the family. No strong family leader or strong Citizen willing to stand up.

Concur. There are companies that implement "affirmative action" as an unpalatable necessity and try to do a fair job of it, and there are companies that do so with full and hearty enthusiasm who go wildly overboard. At least during the period when I was at Dow, what I saw put them in the first group.
Yeah I guess since we were a buyout and in the 21st century we were the guinea pig for the new diversity under the up and coming Sir Evil (CEO Liveris backwards).
