Trump still stumping for Luther Strange. On Tuesday, the president tweeted:
"Big day in Alabama. Vote for Luther Strange, he will be great!"
It's the third time the president has spoken out in favor of Strange, who was appointed to the seat after Sen. Jeff Sessions was confirmed as U.S. Attorney General.
Voters will go to the polls today in the first step towards deciding Alabama's next U.S. Senator.

I still can’t understand why he did that.
Protocol. Presidents support the incumbent. Doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to do.

I can’t see him backing another enemy.
But I don't understand why we would give up a golden opportunity to get a swamp creature "primaried" in favor of a Republican who will be more in line with the Trump agenda.
Maybe Trump and Strange struck up a friendship over the past few months or perhaps a deal was made. If the latter, I hope it was a damn good deal!

I urge a vote for Judge Roy Moore is the right vote especially in these anti southern tradition and heritage time. The Judge is a living symblol of the great South and will win today.

Trump needs more conservatives who will actually push his agenda, not Mitch McConnell’s agenda - bigger government.
Kenny, the last poll I saw had Moore leading at 35%.

It bears repeating.
Strange has voted the way the President wanted on every occasion. If Trump felt the need to endorse anyone then how could he not endorse Strange when if voted the right way? If he were to endorse someone else then what does that say to any other Senator running for re-election? "Vote how I want because Trump will probably endorse my opponent anyway?"
Trump probably should have stayed out of it altogether. But that ship sailed.
