The last time Republicans betrayed a sitting Republican president, like they’re doing right now, was in 1912. Teddy Roosevelt, a progressive Republican, fought against Wm. H. Taft, a conservative Republican, for the entirety of Taft’s presidency (1908-1912), tearing the party in half. Roosevelt completed his destruction of the party in 1912 when he formed his own party (Bull Moose) and ran for president as a third party candidate against Taft, who was the Republican nominee.
The result was a landslide victory! For leftist democrat Woodrow Wilson.
It keeps us from being an echo chamber like DU. It’s good to discuss what, exactly, is wrong with it.
Otherwise, we’re just a bunch of bigots.

I have never seen an ‘outsider’ go into a 16 candidate run off for President before in my life, and then Candidate Trump took each one of them apart, piece by piece for us to see what they were made of and then WE cast them aside...
When it was Trump running against the evil, vile witch, he did the same thing, and the night of the debate when Mr. Trump had three of the rape victims and the woman that the evil, vile witch laughed at and walked out onto that audience and the look on the Rapist in Chief sitting there and them looking back at him, oh yeah, only a person of Mr. Trump's steadfast could have done that, and it upset the evil, vile witch, would have been worse if Donna hadn't given her questions of the debate earlier, but you could tell it was to the bone shattering...
And the fear of the Fraud in Chief sitting listening to what was going on in Trump Tower before as President Elect Trump was preparing to take the Oath of office...
He is a great person, and you can't do what he has done with his life, the people he has touched and the way he works and the goodness he wants for America and the American people if your not good to begin with...

I really have a hard time watching TV, or reading posts on this forum because every day we’re getting the incoming. We see Trump doing the heavy lifting. His own party is doing nothing.
He needs wins in his pocket to get the negative crap out of the news cycle.
Sometimes a negative column is good for us to look and scrutinize, but for now, I want to hear from the good people here and out there that are writing to support Trump. For example the two articles from yesterday by Ben Stein and the other by Horowitz.

We are here in this mess now due largely to the way those past presidents have acted or refused to act.
Personally, I think this is the first real president we've had since Reagan left the building and I'm enjoying the show for as long as it lasts.

Do you know what's not supposed to be this way? 1) The bought and paid for uniparty politicians who fight against him and our national interests and 2) we, the pampered and confused, who can't handle someone speaking honestly about US and our neurotic state of mind.
Yep, I'm enjoying the show for as long as it lasts. Few times have I seen such a mass self-unmasking of personal truth and honesty as when Trump says or does anything!
He's like makeup remover that's just rough enough to reveal their actual truth beneath their careful maintained facades.
What a gift President Trump is to our nation at such a critical time!
