One of Missouri's biggest newspapers is calling for Democratic State Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal to resign after her controversial Facebook post hoping President Donald Trump will be assassinated.
The editorial board of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch wrote Monday that "no clear-thinking public figure" would express hopes for an assassination of the president, no matter how angry she was over his response to the violence in Charlottesville, Va.
The Missouri Democratic Party, Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill, Democratic Rep. William Lacy Clay, Republican Gov. Eric Greitens, and Republican Lt. Gov. Mike Parson have all called for her resignation, the board noted:

If a Republican Politician said the same of Obama, the Paper would be pushing for the Death Penalty, not a Resignation.
Missouri is a conservative state, so even though this @ss-clown fully represents the hood in Ferguson, the rest of the State will make her pay a price for her ass-clownery
Not so in California, NY, Massachusetts - she would be applauded and given a local government grant to promote her hatred.
I suspect a lot of these Democrats are afraid of exactly that ... which is why they're calling on her to resign.

My brother is the executive editor of the Post Dispatch. Really.
This is a big deal for their very far left editorial board to call for Shaquita’s resignation. But they also know she will never voluntarily resign, so actually this is a cowardly way of appearing morally virtuous.
I love my little brother, we never discuss politics. Fortunately he’s not a constantly braying leftard like some other members of my big fat Mexican family.
The Dems should be responsible to shoot their own dogs. Let them take the lead on it, if they are willing. If not, some number of swing seats will likely go Republican next cycle. Win-Win.
Let her and the NAACP try, it would show the entire country just how insane they are.
What she did was morally wrong and to a degree unlawful, she should not be allowed to remain in office because of her color or threats from any group.
