I saw a brief clip of Ray Lewis on ESPN last week when the Baltimore Ravens were apparently giving serious consideration to signing Kaepernick if their starting QB (Flacco) is out for an extended time with a recent injury.

Lewis didn't come right out and say it, but he gave some strong indications that Kaepernick hasn't been signed because every NFL coach or GM who has spoken with him in recent months is certain that he doesn't even consider pro football a major priority in his life anymore.

My prediction is that as we approach July of 2018, and he hasn’t signed with a club...he’s finished.

So far, he was offered one single contract....back-up quarter back for the minimum they can pay for one year. He refused....rumor has it that his girlfriend says he can do better on the deals.

I think what you will see is the guy ending up as a state representative in the California House, and working his way to some Senator job in a dozen years. Beyond that...his NFL period is finished, I suspect.
