Some fool posted it, yesterday, from Houston. It went viral and has been debunked on ALL local Houston news outlets.
The Harris County Judge, Ed Emmott, even talked to the idiot who posted it, and asked them why they posted it. They said, “I didn’t know it would go viral”.

That Facebook post could be a hoax.
Well, if that report is true, maybe Gov. Abbott should get on the horn to those locals and put a metaphorical boot up their butts.

There have been advisories on the tv and radio about not getting news from Facebook and the like.
We worked in downtown today. The retail business and most offices in the Houston Center complex were expected to close by 3:00. Our building, Two Houston, closed entrances to the underground garages at noon and were planning to shut down the garage elevators at 5:00 PM. Elevators would be offline until Monday, weather permiting.
Then don’t look into. I am just posting info that I find. During this storm not all things will pan out.
Why didn’t they manditory evac Houston ?

In our area, shelters are full. For over a week we have been trying to take a dog that wandered onto our property, and keeps hanging around, to a shelter, but none can take him. He’s not quite full grown, seems trainable, & could well make a good pet, but unfortunately he goes after our chickens and is VERY strong — unless chained up, he’d eventually tear into the coop, and besides, we free range the chickens when we are around. (Super egg quality!) I may have to put “Goofy” down myself if we can’t find him a home.
Being put to sleep may be the fate of a lot of pets that survive this storm...

Well...... we in the Hill Country will be crashing with the rest of y’all, rainwise. 24”, but we’ll be sending it right back to the coast via the Colorado river.
