Been watching recent presser by Houston officials. No mass evacuation because this “is not the kind of water you run from”. Okay, Houston won’t be getting storm surge. So previous flooding events haven’t put people in flooded out areas at risk? Limited access to emergency servuces, food, potable water? If not, then I can understand why the locals aren’t calling for a bugout. But if neighborhoodshe could be rendered unliveable for days, what the heck are they going to do?
